20:40 masak ahoy, #6macros
20:41 masak my one takeaway from https://github.com/jfreeze/elixir-book/blob/master/chapters/5.md is that they've arrived at the same solution as I have wrt macros and context -- to annotate identifiers with their scope -- which feels reassuring, somehow
20:52 vendethiel- heya
20:52 vendethiel- yeah, same for modules, just like clojure etc
20:52 vendethiel- but elixir has var!()
20:52 masak which sounds like COMPILING:: to me
21:06 vendethiel- ..except it's only for variables.
21:06 vendethiel- well. elixir does SSA, and so maybe has a few less traps than 007/6
21:07 masak maybe.
