07:35 edrin hi egonw
07:36 egonw hi edrin
07:36 edrin since some days I am working on a new version of the XEP
07:37 egonw oh, good
07:37 edrin I reduced it to the minimum (to be an alternative to the currently mainly used x:data XEP-0004)
07:37 edrin (meaning the io data namespace)
07:37 egonw so, no webservice aspect?
07:39 edrin I think the asynchronous ad-hoc client notification is already supported by current XEPs in principle - though not specifically documented in this context
07:39 egonw ok
07:40 egonw like last time... I'm not enough into existing XEPs
07:40 edrin While chatting and discussing with the only new council member - who was somehow quite open for my arguments: he suggested to split the XEP in two pieces. maybe he is right here
07:41 edrin but let's see
07:41 egonw ok, sounds good
07:41 egonw keep talking with them...
07:41 egonw they need to pass it in the end...
07:41 edrin yup

07:42 egonw I'm still trying to catch up with my local pile of todo's....
07:42 egonw and have had little time to explore other things...
07:42 egonw like setting up a local server...
07:43 egonw maybe we can schedule a work session, say 2-3 hours, with Ola (and maybe Mark)... where you talk us through setting up servers...
