11:20 shevy gemi bioruby
11:20 shevy ERROR:  Could not find a valid gem 'bioruby' (>= 0) in any repository
11:20 shevy we have no official bioruby gem?
11:36 marjan I think it's called bio.
11:37 marjan shevy, are there gems for something else beside Ruby? :)
11:37 shevy ah yes
11:37 shevy got confused, the tarball I have here is "bioruby-1.4.2" or something like that
11:38 shevy but come to think about it, there should be optional aliases
11:39 shevy then people could still use "gem install bioruby". if no project with that name exists, check for alias. if alias exists, notify user about that it is an alias, then continue to install it
11:39 shevy (I mean, in rubygems. not in bioruby)
11:40 marjan A bioruby gem requiring bio would be probably good enough.
11:41 marjan empty bioruby gem
11:44 shevy yeah but that is not so elegant
11:44 shevy I think .gemspec files should support a list of (reasonable) aliases
11:44 shevy and those aliases always have lower precedences than other .gemspec files
11:44 shevy *precedence
11:44 shevy anyway :D
11:44 shevy I am on 1.9.3 finally marjan!
11:49 marjan good for you :)
15:09 audy gem 'bioruby', :require => 'bio'
15:19 shevy what does that do? add an additional alias? seems to be only ruby code, so from commandline-only it is probably unavailable
