18:58 Ryan_Lane abrody: working on merging your changes in today
18:59 Ryan_Lane I have all the tests working. didn't need a lot of change
18:59 Ryan_Lane I'm going to merge your change in, then I'll push in a PR with updated tests
18:59 Ryan_Lane before release I'm going to tweak the UI changes some too

20:58 abrody \o/
20:58 abrody LMK if I can help
20:58 abrody How hard it is to set up the AWS stuff to run tests against?
21:00 Ryan_Lane it's roughly the equivalent of setting up confidant
21:00 Ryan_Lane well, a bit less
21:00 Ryan_Lane we use local dynamodb
21:00 Ryan_Lane so it requires setting up a KMS key and IAM role
21:01 Ryan_Lane I moved some intregration tests into the integration tests directory
21:01 Ryan_Lane so they can be run separately
21:02 Ryan_Lane so hopefully the rest will be able to do mocking and will be able to be run without dynamo or aws info
21:04 Ryan_Lane I'll try to make it possible to launch a test run through docker-compose
21:29 lyftbot [pnathan] Ryan -  what's the expected URI for the confidant OAuth request? (bug #58 is biting me)
21:32 Ryan_Lane pnathan: if your app is at https://confidant.example.com/ it's that
21:32 Ryan_Lane @pnathan your http/https scheme needs to match
21:36 lyftbot [pnathan] Gack
21:55 lyftbot [pnathan] I added a comment to AB's PR, btw, regarding saml and /debug.
21:55 Ryan_Lane oh
21:55 lyftbot [pnathan] you might have caught it on the merge
21:56 Ryan_Lane nah. I hadn't changed anything there
21:56 Ryan_Lane hm. I didn't notice that...
21:56 Ryan_Lane @abrody https://github.com/lyft/confidant/pull/52#discussion-diff-61811522R33
22:49 abrody yeah it's a little weird to leave that there
22:49 abrody basically I created /v1/saml/login because I wanted an endpoint specifically for debugging
22:49 Ryan_Lane ah. gotcha.
22:49 abrody you don't hit it in the normal flow (where you just get redirected from whatever page you try to visit)
22:49 Ryan_Lane indeed
22:49 Ryan_Lane I kind of want to modify the UI so that it loads completely without auth
22:49 Ryan_Lane then you click login to login
22:50 Ryan_Lane so we'd want to add a /v1/login endpoint
22:50 Ryan_Lane doesn't specifically need to be specific to the type of auth, though
22:50 abrody ????
22:50 Ryan_Lane maybe we want /v1/debug/<stuff> for debug endpoints
22:50 Ryan_Lane which would 404 if debug=False
22:50 abrody makes sense
22:51 abrody /v1/saml/debug right now returns 403 with debug=False
22:51 Ryan_Lane gotcha
22:52 abrody but having a bunch of scoped endpoints might be nice
22:52 abrody some of these things might only be useful when hacking on auth functionality, but I figure a lot of them are useful when integrating with your idp
22:53 Ryan_Lane yeah
22:56 abrody maybe /v1/debug/login and /v1/debug/info would be nice
