17:25 mhi^ Hey, what's the proper way to get the darcs top-level directory?
17:26 owst mhi^: what do you mean?
17:28 mhi^ owst: I'm writing a Vim plugin at the moment. Assuming the repo is at /foo/bar and I'm in /foo/bar/quuz/, is there a darcs command that outputs '/foo/bar'? (Crawling the folder hierarchy up to the _darcs folder doesn't count.)
17:29 mhi^ Thus, the equivalent to 'git rev-parse --show-toplevel' or 'hg root'.
17:31 owst The only way I can think of is doing something like: `darcs show repo | grep '^\s\+Root:' | sed 's/^\s\+Root: //'`
17:31 owst Not particularly pleasant, but it works

17:33 mhi^ owst: Ah, that will work. Thanks!

17:40 Heffalump mhi^: what do you need it for, out of interest? In general darcs commands will do the crawling themselves wherever you invoke them. No doubt there are missing pieces though.
17:44 mhi^ Heffalump: https://github.com/mhinz/vim-toplevel
17:44 mhi^ I often have to change the current working directory to the VCS root directory within Vim, so I wrote this little plugin today.
