03:49 pointfree-w530 Working on ohloh_scm (openhub) tests for darcs...
03:51 pointfree-w530 ...I just got ruby 1.9.2 and rake 0.8.1 running so I can test ohloh_scm.
03:52 pointfree-w530 I have a question about darcs though.
03:53 pointfree-w530 I am looking at lib/ohloh_scm/parsers/darcs_parser.rb
03:58 pointfree-w530 ...and I have reason to believe that the formatting of `darcs changes` has changed since the initial ohloh_scm support was written by sm
03:58 pointfree-w530 ...is this so?
04:00 pointfree-w530 was the initial darcs ohloh_scm support written *before* hashed repos?

13:58 pointfree-w530 Hi sm, so I rewrote parts of darcs_parser.rb for the new darcs. It looks like e.token should be set to the hash (i.e. darcs now uses the hash rather than the patch name to identify recordings) ?

13:59 pointfree-w530 Just wanted to confirm.
14:19 sm pointfree-w530: darcs can match either by name or hash, but the hash is perhaps more precise (and is now easier to discover since it's displayed by default)
14:21 pointfree-w530 I think I'll use the hash -- I guess nobody will be adding darcs1 repos to openhub.
14:23 sm sounds good to me
14:34 pointfree-w530 sm, I was just looking at lib/ohloh_scm/adapters/darcs/misc.rb to change `darcs show file -p` to `darcs show files -h` but when I try `darcs show -h <hash>` or `darcs show -p` I get "darcs: can't mix revisioned and pending flags"
14:35 pointfree-w530 I thought darcs had versioned `show files`
14:35 pointfree-w530 I use darcs-screened.
14:36 sm pointfree-w530: that's a new one on me
14:37 pointfree-w530 http://bugs.darcs.net/patch88
14:40 sm that patch seems to be in -screened
14:58 pointfree-w530 darcs show files --no-pending -h <hash>
14:58 pointfree-w530 ah!

16:05 pointfree-w530 sm, hmm apparently `darcs changes` has no --from-hash or --to-hash
16:10 pointfree-w530 nevermind, there is: darcs changes --from-match 'hash <hash>'
16:24 pointfree-w530 sm, the ohloh_scm code uses `darcs put` is this still slow these days?

22:22 pointfree-w530 When I remove a file from a darcs repo and then run `darcs show contents -h <hash> <file>` on a revision that *did have* the <file> I get nothing.
22:22 pointfree-w530 However, I see the stuff when I run `darcs changes -v`
22:26 pointfree-w530 afaik, this is not the expected behavior -- one of the ohloh_scm tests is failing because `darcs show contents` outputs nothing.
