06:47 Heffalump notdan: sent you a couple of patches - feel free to amend them into your existing patches or whatever
06:47 Heffalump btw on Windows I have to press Enter after I press any key, even with the NoBuffering. But that's kind of normal on Windows so probably not a big deal.

14:58 notdan sm: I pushed the patches that merge the `den` CLI-tool into the darcsden repository. Can you comment on those when you have spare minutes? :)
17:27 sm notdan: nice, I can see the dependencies at http://hub-dev.darcs.net/simon/darcsden-dev/compare/co-dan/darcsden-to-merge
17:27 sm thanks for the patches, I'll have to look at them later though
17:38 sm notdan: well. There is no later. What's the effect on current darcsden users, do we have to move our darcsden.conf ?
17:39 sm no. I guess you made the fallback location ~/.darcs/darcsden.conf instead of ~/darcsden.conf
17:40 sm are we fine with making it look like darcsden and darcs are the same project ?
17:48 Heffalump I think we can have a principle that other tools can put their own stuff in the darcs cofig folders
17:49 Heffalump I guess in principle we should organise a very clear naming scheme/directory hierarchy for that, but in practice just having 'darcsden' in the name seems enough
17:50 Heffalump I think we really should share config folders/logic for cross-platform convenience, and also because we should make the same alignment for metadata (store darcsden-related stuff in _darcs)
17:53 sm ok - merged, thanks guys

18:06 Heffalump great - notdan, how much is left to merge?
18:09 notdan re: sharing config folders & logic -- yeah, good idea, I need to find a patch that I prepared for darcs that would export some of that functionallity
18:09 notdan sm: thanks, Simon!
18:10 notdan Heffalump: re: merging; the record functionality
18:12 notdan Oh and I need to finish the documentation
18:12 notdan I really like that you have a -dev instance
18:18 sm me too.. reminds me I need to rebuild production soon, and I wonder if darcsden-ssh is buildable with GHC 7.10 yet
18:22 Heffalump notdan: great :-)

21:23 pointfree FYI, in order for darcsden-local to build (for me):
21:23 pointfree hunk ./src/DarcsDen/Instance/Local.hs 19
21:23 pointfree -import System.Locale (defaultTimeLocale)
21:23 pointfree +import Data.Time.Format (defaultTimeLocale)
21:23 Heffalump this is why pacakge bounds are good :-)
22:10 sm notdan: that function moved to time as of time-1.5. To make it work with older or newer time, you can conditionalise it like https://github.com/simonmichael/hledger/blob/master/hledger-lib/hledger-lib.cabal#L77
22:12 notdan pointfree: can you tell me your version of time/old-time livraries?
22:12 notdan oh thanks sm
22:13 sm looks like that should be done for the library and darcsden-ssh and darcsden-post-hook executables. We should probably also get rid of the old-time lib (separate issue)
22:15 sm maybe just depending on time>=1.5 is fine too
22:18 sm yes I don't see why not.. simpler
