15:12 sm pointfree: sorry for the slow reply
15:13 sm it looks cool. Does it currently just show raw content for images & pdfs ?
15:13 sm trunk I mean
15:14 sm I can't think of any performance/security issues it would cause for the production server, can you ?
15:18 sm I guess notdan worked on this too
15:19 sm with http://hub.darcs.net/pointfree/darcsden/patch/776e728a0f0a88d8b3c74e3de9f5654848d47bc6 shouldn't something be done with the time/old-time bounds in darcsden.cabal
15:19 sm the getUserChanges stuff is a separate feature I guess
15:21 sm ah, you said all this
15:22 sm notdan: you have DRAFT: in your patch, does that mean I shouldn't merge it ?
15:24 pointfree getUserChanges is not done yet, it's for the darcsden feed.

15:29 pointfree http://stackoverflow.com/a/22387821/44016
15:30 sm pointfree: I don't know how it looked before, but yours looks great here (firefox, osx)
15:31 pointfree The only reason notdan's patch was a DRAFT patch (that I could see) is because the iframe was tiny. My patch just fixes the sizing of the iframe.
15:33 sm I'll give him a chance to respond, otherwise I'll merge them both later today
15:33 sm thanks!
15:34 sm pointfree: hey you are #2 on darcs hub, nice :)
15:34 pointfree :)
15:35 sm "airbag — a forth with dependent typing safety features built-in"
15:35 * sm 's head spins
15:36 sm ha, but not much there :)
15:36 sm I really like your imageful readmes, eg http://hub.darcs.net/pointfree/amforth-ad985x
15:37 pointfree Thanks!
15:38 sm the svgs aren't showing at http://hub.darcs.net/pointfree/darcs-swag for some reason
15:39 pointfree Yeah, maybe a mime type issue?
15:50 sm yay, got darcsden building with ghc 7.10
16:01 pointfree yay!
16:02 sm I think we still need to fix Heffalump's ssh package with 7.10 before I can use it on darcs hub
16:17 sm well I guess I can build darcsden-ssh with ghc 7.6 and the rest with 7.10
16:18 * sm is referring to http://hub.darcs.net/ganesh/ssh/issue/3

16:24 maerwald_ sm: is that a good idea? I mean, do both interact on a code-level?
16:25 sm maerwald_: not really.. they just both operate on the same darcs repos, and maybe they both talk to couchdb (I forget). So it should work
16:25 maerwald_ oh right
16:25 sm but clearly I'd prefer to use 7.10 for all
16:38 sm :r
17:05 pointfree what's this: http://hub.darcs.net/MasseR/darcsden/patch/bec79d500e90474b4b9206f5e95dc502a1ca2c73
17:09 sm pointfree: I don't know.. MasseR ?
17:22 pointfree What are we using for markdown? I want to see if we can get the readme images' image paths to be relative to the current directory in the repository instead of just absolute urls only.

17:23 pointfree So instead of ![SchmartBoard PSoC5LP](http://hub.darcs.net/pointfree/oceanforth/raw-file/board.png) use ![SchmartBoard PSoC5LP](board.png)
17:23 sm pointfree: it's pandoc
17:24 sm in DarcsDen.Util I think
17:37 sm darcsden now uses the lts-3/ghc 7.10 stackage snapshot by default

19:50 maerwald sm: I don't seem to get the new layout from hub.darcs.net on my own server, is it custom or did I somehow install an older version?
19:54 sm pointfree: the hub.darcs.net instance is built with -fhub, does that explain it ?
20:01 maerwald that doesn't seem to change it
20:01 maerwald afair the "public" dir is also read from cabal somehow, right? Maybe I need to clean that up
20:03 sm what's an example of a difference you're seeing ?
20:04 maerwald http://hub.darcs.net/maerwald/games-overlay/patch/69dfb08520c2d1527d8843a7cdebde09b94f367f vs https://darcs.hasufell.de/hasufell/games-overlay/patch/69dfb08520c2d1527d8843a7cdebde09b94f367f
20:04 maerwald I want those pretty boxes too!
20:06 pointfree New layout? You mean the iframes for pngs and pdfs etc?
20:07 maerwald I don't know... they seem to be around other files too
20:07 sm oops, I meant maerwald.
20:08 sm hmm, haven't seen those before
20:09 sm I suspect maybe the latest pandoc is adding them to code blocks
20:09 Heffalump sm: still need to spend some quality time isolating what's different about your setup that triggers those segfaults :-(
20:10 maerwald sm: oh, how is that
20:10 maerwald it also makes me think... now it does linebreaks, but without an indication what line I am on
20:11 maerwald where the old layout just didn't do any linebreak
20:11 maerwald (I mean for over-long lines)
20:11 sm Heffalump: oh.. sorry if you already told me (maybe you could add it to the issue).. do my steps to reproduce not work for you ?
20:12 sm if we keep updating that page we might get more help
20:13 sm maerwald: I see it's different on hub-dev (built today)
20:14 sm I'll just deploy that now
20:22 pointfree New FUN challenge http://hub.darcs.net/ganesh/ssh/issue/5
20:26 pointfree curve25519-sha256 would be better, but it is a BIGGER challenge.
20:26 sm maerwald: not wrapping long source code lines, and I guess the lack of border, is the current design.. I think I may have deployed some old css files when I rolled back a deployment a while back
20:27 maerwald ah
20:33 pointfree https://github.com/thoughtpolice/hs-nacl has curve25519 that we could plug into
20:33 pointfree There are a bunch of pure haskell implementations out there...
20:34 sm pointfree: yes that would be great
21:00 sm oh man.. darcsden config is so complicated
21:05 sm I spent half an hour figuring out why the latest build was showing a blank front page in production (needed to add --hub to the command line in supervisor.conf)
21:15 Heffalump sm: comment added
21:16 sm Heffalump: thanks. You haven't tried on ubuntu, right ?
21:23 Heffalump correct
21:24 Heffalump I think I tried on Debian when you first had the problem in April, but I'm not certain
21:36 sm maybe someone else here can test
21:38 sm I'll just leave this here: http://hub.darcs.net/ganesh/ssh/issue/3
21:38 sm if only I could, I would add a bounty on it with bountysource
22:34 maerwald sm         _idOwner :: String <- I suspect this is the account name?
22:34 maerwald in src/DarcsDen/State/Issue.hs
22:38 sm maerwald: I guess so
23:09 Big_G joined #darcs
23:40 maerwald How does darcs link to ncurses?
23:43 Big_G joined #darcs
23:43 maerwald it seems it doesn't do that properly, because it fails to link if terminfo is built as a separate library co-existing with libncurses
23:43 maerwald that's why I often give up doing haskell, you end up dealing with build system crap
