16:32 pointfree Status Update: I'm working towards statically generating the feed to CouchDB based on events. I figure I can hook into the "darcs apply" events here: http://hub.darcs.net/pointfree/darcsden-feed-event-driven/browse/post-hook/darcsden-post-hook.hs
16:32 pointfree I'm currently calling the darcsden feed feature "darcsden events" because the name "feed" is already taken in the source code by the atom feed feature.

18:01 pointfree Is there any reason why darcsden data is split over 5 different CouchDB databases? I propose consolidating them into 1 database.
18:01 pointfree This is important because I would like to use CouchDB's linked documents feature https://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/Introduction_to_CouchDB_views#Linked_documents for the darcsden events feed.
18:01 pointfree CouchDB does not allow creating views across multiple databases. Results of a view query are only computed once in CouchDB until something is updated, so I don't think(?) there is any performance advantage to using multiple databases.
