10:59 Heffalump sm: did we have any idea about the API for that?
13:53 sm Heffalump: just that a more git-like UI would be nicer, and might suggest the API
13:56 sm a git repo has all available hooks in .git/hooks/, as (disabled) scripts - just rename to enable - and hooks are always called at the proper time, regardless of which command is running (you don't have to set and enable hooks separately for each command
15:32 Heffalump ok, so the hooks are more semantic

17:42 Heffalump hi gh_
17:42 Heffalump is the sprint going to be quite cosy? :-)
17:55 gh_ hi Heffalump
17:58 gh_ yes, we have a room, internet access, a bemer, also a big (> 40'') monitor we can use instead of the beamer, an electric kettle and a capsule coffee machine :)
17:58 gh_ *beamer
18:00 gh_ the only thing is that apart from you I'm not even sure who's coming yet!
18:04 gh_ I've been quite disconnected in the past 3 weeks, but during that time I had some semi-confirmation from pierre-Ă©tienne meunier (of Pijul)
18:17 Heffalump the number of attendees is what I meant about being cosy :-)
18:17 Heffalump great if he's coming - any idea about Florent?
18:26 gh_ same, did sorta said he would go but no more news
19:11 pointfree I wish I could go to the sprint, but Spain is rather far from San Francisco were I will be living then. Maybe I'll take the Friday off and just consider myself to be a participant "by telepresence."
19:13 pointfree Anyone know of any darcs, patch-theory, or alternative version control enthusiasts in the bay area?
19:16 Heffalump Judah Jacobson maybe?
19:18 pointfree "Judah wrote up a formalisation of patch theory using inverse semigroups… last seen: 2009-10"
19:19 pointfree It would be cool to have a "satellite sprint"
19:19 Heffalump sm is in California somewhere, I think
19:20 sm I'm in los angeles.. maybe add the sprint date/location to /topic ?
19:20 sm o/ pointfree
19:21 Topic for #darcs is now Sprint in Seville, Spain 15-17th January | http://darcs.net/ | logs: http://irclog.perlgeek.de/darcs/ | darcs 2.10.0 is out http://darcs.net/Releases/2.10
19:23 pointfree I could do a Los Angeles sprint.
19:23 sm I couldn't.. sorry! :(
19:25 sm I shouldn't rule it out completely. I'll find out
19:26 sm afk, o/
19:28 pointfree Maybe a Californian sprint should not overlap with a European sprint.

23:58 pointfree Now that there is talk of moving darcs development to hub.darcs.net, is there any existing work or ui-thoughts on how "darcs send" should work with darcsden issues?
