20:03 ronny hi
20:04 ronny i wonder, can i use darcs to manage a set of patches against git repos in order to avoid rebase?
20:14 sm ronny: darcs can remove some manual rebasing, but not all (eg conflicting text edits)
20:23 ronny sm: i see
20:23 ronny btw, where the experiments about patch repressentations fruitfull? i recall a few years back people experimented with more flexible repressentations

20:30 sm Heffalump might know

20:39 Heffalump https://hackage.haskell.org/package/ipatch was an attempt in that direction
20:40 Heffalump likewise the darcs-git-bridge would help out with that in theory, but it doesn't really work at present
20:40 Heffalump re patch representations, there've been various ideas over the years, so not sure if you're referring to anything specific. We're currently most excited about pijul.
