07:40 Heffalump fr33domlover: I've figured out what to do with the rebase, just will take a bit longer to finish.
07:41 fr33domlover Heffalump, thanks. No rush

20:52 pointfree sm, Just figured out that if I enable "remote management" on my comcast router I get a public ipv4 address, not just an ipv6 address
20:52 pointfree "Remote Management allows the gateway to be remotely accessed by a customer account representative to perform troubleshooting or maintenance."
20:52 pointfree Running darcsden again, this time from my "odroid xu4" http://odroid.0xffffffff.in:8900/

22:17 sm pointfree: odroid ? is that a phone ?
22:22 sm anyway.. don't make your router insecure, but as long as it's accessible, where could I see some of your new stuff working ?
22:30 ackthet odroid is a small arm board iirc
22:40 sm neat
23:08 pointfree odroid-xu4 is an octa-core arm board with Gigabit ethernet.
23:15 pointfree sm: implementing things like the feed was getting awkward with CouchDB, so lately I've been working towards replacing CouchDB with the 4store semantic web triplestore.
23:16 pointfree Lately I've just been writing rdf which could be stored in a binary format in 4store. I've started documenting things here: http://hub.darcs.net/pointfree/semantic-darcsden-meta
23:20 pointfree Attempting to aggregate events was particularly awkward with CouchDB, especially with the data split across multiple databases.
23:31 sm pointfree: interesting
23:32 sm though I have to say, it doesn't sound like something I need myself
23:34 sm I'd prefer less dependence on exotic dbs, not more
23:36 ackthet any recommended reading for new darcs users?
23:37 sm ackthet: the manual, certainly
23:37 sm uh.. and I think that's it
23:37 sm maybe http://darcs.net/QuickStart is good
23:39 ackthet thoughts on the wikibook (its short)
23:53 pointfree sm, my thought was to completely replace couchdb with 4store (not to add it) https://github.com/garlik/4store
23:54 pointfree Would be nice to eliminate non-haskell dependencies though..
