19:28 Mysterious_Light hello. Could you explain how `darcs show dependencies` works with tags?
19:28 Mysterious_Light As I understand, tags are just identity patches with additional dependencies, so that when a tagged patch is pulled with all the dependent patches to an empty repo, the working dir state is restored.
19:28 Mysterious_Light If I do `darcs tag …`, `show dependencies` returns a one-vertex graph.
19:28 Mysterious_Light However, if a tag patch is pushed to another repo, `show dependencies` treats it just as a patch with dependencies.
19:28 Mysterious_Light Is it possible to show tagged patches uniformly?
19:38 Heffalump Mysterious_Light: it might be to do with whether the tag is 'clean' or not in each repo (not really justifying the inconsistent behaviour, just trying to work out why it's happening)
19:38 Heffalump what if you do a darcs optimise reorder in the new repo?
19:49 Mysterious_Light wow, amazing

20:10 karlpinc What's the recommended tool to use to expose a darcs repo to the web?
20:12 karlpinc (For browsing and the like, nothing more.)
20:18 sm karlpinc: https://blitiri.com.ar/p/darcsweb/ is simplest
20:19 sm it might require an older version of darcs
20:20 karlpinc Thanks.  That's what I'm using.  But I have vague recollections of something "better" coming down the pipe.
20:21 sm darcsden is what darcs hub uses, and can probably be configured read only fairly easily
20:21 sm https://hackage.haskell.org/package/darcsden
20:23 karlpinc Ok.  Thanks.  I figured that might be the alternative.
