19:14 Cthulhux is there a non-interactive version of darcs? :D i just committed my first new repo to darcshub and i'm slightly confused: two "y" per file and two additional "y" in the end :x

21:21 gh_ Cthulhux, you can always pass the -a or --all flag to record, this is equivalent to answering 'y' to everything
21:21 Cthulhux ah
21:21 Cthulhux thanks :D
21:22 gh_ Cthulhux, this 'two "y" per file' thing is only at the beginning because one of the choices is for creating the file and the second one is for adding its contents.
21:22 Cthulhux why would anyone add a file without its contents?
21:22 gh_ Cthulhux, but I agree that it seems unnecessary
21:23 gh_ exactly... this is not a UI decision about allowing people to add files without their contents, it is just the implementation that is leaking in the UI :)
21:24 * Cthulhux sighs
21:24 gh_ when you delete a file and do a record, the same thing happens, only in reverse: you first have to say 'y' to remove the file's contents, then another 'y' to delete the file
21:25 gh_ maybe we should change the interactive selection UI so that only one choice is proposed to the user in both case
21:27 Cthulhux i'd +1 that
21:45 gh_ Cthulhux, note that the same happens this directories (empty directories can be added) but in that case it seems more useful for many people
21:45 gh_ w/this/with
21:46 Cthulhux i agree, that includes me. (e.g. empty but mandatory config folders) :)
