08:05 mkwiek good day to you on this beautiful monday morning! Two humble changes are awaiting YOUR review: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/210330/ https://review.openstack.org/#/c/209909/
08:07 mkwiek BTW: gerrit seems to work really slow again (at least for me)

08:18 SergK mattymo_, hi, could you please check https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/7.0.x/+bug/1440663 it seems we have issue: "listen tcp 0.0.0.0:49162: bind: address already in use", but I don't think this is critical, since this the first case after 4 months
08:21 zerda Hello. Trying to use 7.0-89 daily ISO with CentOS, and single controller installation can't proceed with "unable to install htop" message. I looked at repos on fuel-master and in 6.1 release, and htop package really disappeared in 7.0

08:52 bookwar zerda: CentOS deployments are not supported in 7.0
08:53 zerda bookwar, will they be supported upon release?
08:56 bookwar zerda: Centos 7 support is on discussion for Fuel 8.0 roadmap

08:59 zerda bookwar, ok, so when can I expect working CentOS installation for Fuel 7.0?
09:00 bookwar zerda: there is no such plans, Fuel 7.0 goes with Ubuntu deployments only
09:00 zerda no, not again
09:05 zerda I mean, in 6.0 there was no allowed method to create bonds (one was deprecated, another experimental/not ready/don't remember), so 7.0 will be without entire host OS, that's totally not cool
09:05 zerda *allowed=supported
09:06 zerda bookwar, anyway, thank you for the info
09:07 bookwar zerda: centos 6 is not really supported in upstream, so there was no point to try to keep it, and switch to centos 7 is just too much work to fit into this release cycle
09:08 neophy I am looking tasks.yaml file in fuel-library. what is the difference between primary controller and controller in groups: [primary-controller, controller]?

09:17 zerda bookwar, yeah, I understand all that, but I have a pretty sad situation when we need Kilo but really don't want Ubuntu on our HW

11:00 pradip <igajsin_> : thanks for reply.. :)
11:01 pradip <igajsin_> : actualy i tried with available plugin for dvs https://github.com/stackforge/fuel-plugin-vmware-dvs
11:04 pradip <igajsin_> : environment is getting failed  ... then i verified plugin was trying to get vmware credentials ....
11:07 pradip <igajsin_> : i think  need to go with duel hypervisor but there is no neutron is supporting ..
11:15 igajsin_ Did you patch fuel plugin builder?
11:17 pradip <igajsin_> : just i followed the instruction there ...
11:18 pradip <igajsin_> : i did't get what actually it's doing ..
11:21 amnk joined #fuel-dev
11:21 pradip $ cd /path/to/fuel-plugin-vmware-dvs; sudo patch /path/to/plugin_rpm.spec.mako hack.diff
11:22 pradip <igajsin_> : just they are giving this instruction only
11:27 igajsin_ Let me explain. The fuel plugin builder has the file plugin_rpm.spec.mako which provides a template for how plugin's rpm will build. You have to change this file for unlock neuton option on wizard.
11:29 igajsin_ if you install fuel plugin builder from pip it should be in  /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/fuel_plugin_builder/templates/build/
11:30 igajsin_ if you use virutalenv it wil virtualenv-name/lib/python2.7/site-packages/fuel_plugin_builder/templates/build/plugin_rpm.spec.mako
11:30 igajsin_ anyway you have to find and patch this file
11:34 pradip <igajsin_> : i got the file plugin_rpm.spec.mako
11:34 pradip <igajsin_> : how can i patch this file ..?
11:37 igajsin_ just as it said in the readme. cd /to/the/fuel-plugin-vmware-dvs and run command $ patch /path/to/plugin_rpm.spec.mako hack.diff
11:37 igajsin_ use sudo if you need it.
11:40 pradip <igajsin_> : is command should like this ...... sudo patch /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/fuel_plugin_builder/templates/build/plugin_rpm.spec.mak hack.diff
11:40 igajsin_ exactly yes
11:41 RedShift joined #fuel-dev
11:43 pradip <igajsin_> : thanks , one more doubt for using this plugin which type of environment i need to create , it means duel hypervisor or normal kvm...
11:47 igajsin_ vmware_dvs provides using neutron for networking for instances, launched on vCenter (while instanced, launched on KVM will use openvswitch). If you chose kvm-only environment it will do nothing.
11:47 igajsin_ For this reason you have to create dual hypervisor env.
11:51 pradip <igajsin_> : so it means what are the credentials of vmware it's getting from dual  hypervisor
11:51 pradip <igajsin_> : but duel hypervisor is not supporting neutron networking ..
11:53 igajsin_ It's a reason why fuel plugin builer should be patched.
11:54 igajsin_ After this it will unlock supporting of neutron for dual hypervisors when plugin install.
11:54 igajsin_ Just try it.
11:54 pboldin joined #fuel-dev
11:56 pradip <igajsin_> : got it thanks :)
12:00 igajsin_ next non obvious step: after deploy you have to recreate net04 and net04_ext or create new network. The vmware_dvs can't work with networks which created before vmware_dvs was installed. It will be fixed soon.
