08:11 AndreyGrebenniko hello there people. Could you help me to solve an issue with ceph osd's creation in fuel. I have 10 devices, I set them up through cli.
08:12 AndreyGrebenniko After deployment I found there is only 1 (1 node), 4 (other node) osds appeared in the tree
08:13 vkozhukalov joined #fuel
08:13 AndreyGrebenniko provisioning logs tell me that at the moment of partition creating there were no proper devices, but they actually exist on the node after full deployment
08:15 ArminderS fuel-3.2 is my first take on ceph, so i'm kinda novice with it
08:15 ArminderS how many nodes are running ceph-osd?
08:15 AndreyGrebenniko Arminder, 3
08:15 ArminderS when you say 10 devices, you means drives?
08:16 AndreyGrebenniko Arminder, right
08:16 ArminderS how are they fitted on 3 nodes
08:17 ArminderS 2, 4, 4?
08:17 ArminderS and no raid, right?

13:09 MiroslavAnashkin Sometimes we observe such issue -  VBox does not start created VM. Please try to shut down and restart script and VBOx and run script one more time.
13:09 MiroslavAnashkin Probably it is VBox issue.

14:40 Giuseppe_ Hello everybody. I have a question. Why in HA deployment FUEL requires "at least three controllers"? As far as I know you can have HA also with 2 controllers... can anybody explain this FUEL requirement?
14:44 MiroslavAnashkin Guiseppe: Galera and Pacemaker need quorum - the majority of running consistent nodes at the same time.
14:46 MiroslavAnashkin 3 nodes is the minimal number of quorum, since 2 nodes always have the same weight in voting
14:47 oguz_ MiroslavAnashkin: i still have no progress
14:49 oguz_ MiroslavAnashkin: does it matter i am doing things with root?
14:49 oguz_ MiroslavAnashkin: running commands as root
14:50 MiroslavAnashkin VBox expects you are working under your own account.
14:50 Giuseppe_ thank you Miroslav,
14:50 MiroslavAnashkin You don't need to work under root.
14:52 Giuseppe_ so, it is not possible to deploy HA using 2 controlloer (for instance using FUEL CLI), isn't it?
14:53 MiroslavAnashkin oguz_:Please try launching VM the following way: `VBoxHeadless --startvm "fuel-web-master"`
14:54 MiroslavAnashkin Guiseppe_: It is possible - all the controllers
14:54 oguz_ MiroslavAnashkin: VRDE server is listening on port 3389.
14:55 MiroslavAnashkin are deployed one by one
14:55 oguz_ MiroslavAnashkin: ping to 10.20.0.2 Destination Host Unreachable
14:58 MiroslavAnashkin oguz_: Please run `VBoxManage showvminfo "fuel-web-master"`

15:53 MiroslavAnashkin No, we already have all the necessary VMs created
