23:00 xarses dhblaz: did you grab 3.2.1?
23:00 dhblaz No, I don't have access to download any longer
23:00 dhblaz I was building iso from git
23:00 dhblaz I believe it is closer to 4 than 3.2.1
23:01 dhblaz Not sure if you saw this earlier
23:01 dhblaz xarses, the img I made yesterday didn't include my patch for ks.cfg to work with cciss hardware (HP RAID)
23:03 xarses dhblaz: eh? I thought the download was always enabled
23:03 angdraug dhblaz: if you're building from the master branch it's definitely 4.0
23:04 xarses dhblaz: hmm, I'll look for the commit again
23:04 dhblaz xarses: My account expired
23:04 xarses dhblaz: checked with someone, you should still be able to login to download
23:04 xarses software.mirantis.com
23:06 xarses dhblaz: ya, it lets me login with my expired test accout and the download link still works
23:07 xarses dhblaz: let me know if you still have problems with it
23:07 dhblaz It works with ff but not my chrome
23:07 dhblaz It could be adblock or something - not sure
23:07 dhblaz Thanks

23:11 Fecn xarses: Definitely not 1. or 2. - I was watching the consoles of the three controller nodes whilst the deployment happened, as it had happened to me previously too. All was going fine... the puppet runs on the three controllers went ok... then it deployed the comput nodes OK... then it went back to finalise the controllers... did the first two OK... and then for some reason it decided to reconfigure all the networking on the final controller so that it clashed with
23:11 Fecn I'm doing another deploy now, so if it happens again I'll keep the logs
23:12 xarses Fecn: very odd
23:13 Fecn I had done a fresh install of fuel... first deploy went fine (neutron + vlan segmentation testing).... but then I tore it down to reconfigure the disks
23:13 Fecn second deploy... ip clash
23:13 Fecn third deploy... same ip clash thing
23:13 Fecn so, I've just redployed fuel once again and am trying again
23:14 Fecn The DNS on the fuel node remains correct.. (i.e. node-24 has node 24's IP address), but the puppet run reconfigures the interfaces on node-24 to match node-22 (etc)
23:21 mattymo joined #fuel
23:39 Fecn Is there a mechanism whereby I can disable the 4GB USB disk altogether? (i.e. inejct something like 'echo 1 > /sys/class/scsi_host_host2/device/transport/target/blah/blah/delete' into the bootstrap ) ?
23:45 Fecn Oh.. and just found another minor issue... apparently if you put the same DNS server in twice for the DNS servers, the gui accepts it as OK, but the puppet run fails. (Apparently I typo'd when I typed them in this time around)
00:07 xarses Fecn: I will create a bug for that, currently, you would have to modify the json passed to cobbler to prevent it

00:17 xarses Fecn: Please create a bug for the IP issue and attach a support bundle if possible

01:12 mihgen you tried to download new ISO ?
01:12 Vidalinux yeah click on the download link at your site
01:13 mihgen whoops Google plays a bad game here
01:14 mihgen Vidalinux: can you try to download from here: https://drive.google.com/a/mirantis.com/#folders/0B0APy1V6LB_VNUlLWENaMVJwMms ?
01:15 Vidalinux mihgen, this require an username and password
01:16 mihgen Vidalinux: hmm try again pls
01:16 mihgen refresh the page
01:16 mihgen you may need any google account in this mode
01:16 Vidalinux Username:
01:16 Vidalinux
01:16 Vidalinux @mirantis.com
01:16 Vidalinux
01:16 Vidalinux Password:
01:17 mihgen it should not be mirantis, any account…. folder is open for anyone in the web
01:17 mihgen Vidalinux: actually I believe it is fixed now
01:17 mihgen can you simply try to download clicking on the button?
01:17 Vidalinux yeah fixed
01:17 Vidalinux thanks
01:18 mihgen sorry it was my fault - it needed to be open as Public, and searchable in Internet, not just Anyone with the link… undocumented enough google drive
01:24 Vidalinux mihgen, no worry ;)

02:13 piersdd Hi, I'm trying to use VLAN_IDs 2450-2480 for Mirantis OS 4 preview, and am receiving the error "This VLAN ID reserved for private networks..."  Is this a Fuel/Mirantis limitation, or something else?  TIA, Piers (IRC newbie)
02:20 mihgen piersdd: hi
02:21 mihgen looks like you have intersection of your L2 nets
02:21 mihgen you put 2450-2480 as private L2, right?
02:21 mihgen most likely you have some other network which uses one of the VLAN IDs from this range
02:22 mihgen private network must be isolated, so you can't use any L2 which is private to any other network
02:24 piersdd OK.  thanks mihgen
02:24 mihgen np
02:25 mihgen piersdd: btw, you may want to checkout 3.2.1 - already available on site.
02:25 mihgen it has a lot of issues fixed
02:25 piersdd OK. will do.  So you wouldn't recommend 4.0?
02:26 mihgen 4.0 official is not available yet. I assume you are trying tech preview
02:26 mihgen tech preview is not stable, and has a number of issues
02:26 piersdd Yes.

09:21 amartellone Hi..I'm finding a comprehensive operation tool for common admin operations (instance migration, instance's logs inspection, planning backup, recovering&replacing VM's volume, monitoring, etc.). Now, I use CLI but it is too much time expensive. Someone can me suggest a tool? Exists it on the market?

19:22 albionandrew Hi xarses dhblaz is not here to ask but I'm getting an error in the kickstart for the 3.2.1.img I think you were talking to him about it? Do you know how to fix? ..specified nonexistent partition cciss/c0d03 in partition command.
19:22 albionandrew line 2 of the kickstart.
19:28 xarses albionandrew: for the fuel node? or one of the clients connecting to it?
19:28 albionandrew No just for setting up the master.
19:29 albionandrew Built stick. Added some kern args showmenu=yes etc booted and get the above error
19:35 mihgen joined #fuel
19:41 xarses hmm, I don't think the cissis patch was merged into the place that was used by the fuel node.
19:46 albionandrew xarses so how should I proceed? Did dhblaz tell you how he fixed it?
