06:26 neophy I have installed Fuel in Physics server and Fuel Master server is up and running. Fuel Master notifications says: Master node installation has been completed successfully. Now you can boot new nodes over PXE, they will be discovered and become available for installing OpenStack on them. When I PXE boot new node It seems it gets IP address from Fuel Master but node boots with default local image
06:29 neophy and also there is no notifications in Fuel Master saying that a node is discovered. Is there any doc or pointer for troubleshooting?

13:33 blufor hey guys, i have a following question - i'm trying to deploy Havana using Fuel (v4.1) and i get kicked by a python error when configuring the disks (http://pastie.org/9085072)
13:35 blufor screenshot of configuration is here https://www.dropbox.com/s/0jr38zpg25q5p4d/2014-04-16-153426_1920x1080_scrot.png

13:42 MiroslavAnashkin blufor: Hey! Please generate and share diagnostic snapshot.
13:43 mihgen blufor: oh looks like nailgun issue ..
13:43 mihgen blufor: are you registered on launchpad?
13:44 mihgen I would appreciate if you file a bug there and attach a snapshot along with this exception…  and we will try to get someone to dig into this
13:44 MiroslavAnashkin blufor: And please clarify in a bit more details, how did you found this issue. Does this error happen when you click Apply on disk settings page?
13:48 lromagnoli quite similar of what appened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1306546
13:48 lromagnoli http://picpaste.com/Screen_Shot_2014-04-16_at_3.47.11_PM-CoQOXECU.png
13:50 mihgen lromagnoli: hmm. can you add your screenshot to the bug post please?
13:50 blufor MiroslavAnashkin: yes, it happens after i click on apply changes, doesn't matter whether i do it just on one node or all 6 of them
14:03 MiroslavAnashkin lromagnoli: Hmm, please try to upgrade Virtualbox to at least 4.2.xxx version
14:03 lromagnoli ok i will
14:08 lromagnoli MiroslavAnashkin: to build a lab much similar of your wich version of linux do u use with virtualbox? i can change my linux distro and version as i like
14:10 MiroslavAnashkin We tested VBox 4.2.12+ and 4.3.8+ under
14:10 MiroslavAnashkin Mac OS 10.7.5, Mac OS 10.8.3, Ubuntu 12.04,
14:10 MiroslavAnashkin Ubuntu 12.10, Fedora 19, OpenSUSE 12.2/12.3, and Windows 7 x64 + Cygwin_x64.
14:12 MiroslavAnashkin While 4.2.16 (or later) is required, along with the extension pack.

14:25 evg lromagnoli: don't care about distributive, your ubuntu will do. just upgrade virtualbox
14:25 blufor mihgen: https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1308581
14:25 blufor mihgen: it's there
14:27 mihgen blufor: thanks! will start looking into it...
14:27 mihgen output of "ohai" command from the broken server might also help,,

14:32 lromagnoli evg: Hi, now i've got some problem with dependencies with my version of ubuntu and new virtualbox
14:33 MiroslavAnashkin lromagnoli: What is your Ubuntu version?
14:34 lromagnoli Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS
14:36 lromagnoli that as by default verision of virtualbox Version: 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.5
14:39 blufor mihgen: ohai from the compute node?
14:41 blufor mihgen: how do you log onto the pxebooted system?
14:42 evg lromagnoli: yes, indeed. Try getting the package from www.virtualbox.org
14:42 mihgen blufor: yep, ohai
14:43 mihgen blufor: you can run "fuel node list" to get list of nodes
14:43 mihgen and they are names as node-<id>
14:43 mihgen so you can "ssh node-2" or whatever number from master node
14:46 evg lromagnoli: from here https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
14:46 lromagnoli evg: is tried, virtualbox-4.3_4.3.10-93012~Ubuntu~precise_i386.deb has problem with dependencies on my linux machine becouse a lot of libraries are not updated now i'm tring virtualbox-4.2_4.2.24-92790~Ubuntu~lucid_i386.deb
14:46 lromagnoli evg: downloading now ;-)
14:48 lromagnoli evg: or maybe i will install Ubuntu 13.10 so i will have my lib updated ... not so easy finding the right solution
14:53 blufor mihgen: ohai here https://www.dropbox.com/s/9iq86hdiiv733gz/ohai.txt
14:54 evg lromagnoli: as you wish :). i think the .deb from oracle should work.

15:09 albionandrew Hi, I messed up the networking on one controller so my cluster did not deploy. I went in to the “bad” controller and tried to move the networks to the conrrect interfaces, fuel wouldn’t let me. I deleted the node and it is sitting there with a line through its name but when I go to deploy it wont let me because it needs three controllers (HA). Is there away I can edit that controller and undelete the pending action?

15:31 MiroslavAnashkin albionandrew: It depends on your current node with messed network statement. If there is already deployed controller and you only programmed new MAC addresses to the node NICs - you may run through logs, find out the previous MAC addresses and try to re-program old ones back.

17:29 BillTheK_ I have multiple external networks configured - have a some issues - but the first one:  When I do a "neutron agent-list" I only see a single L3 agent not two. I have two agents running. Anyone have any ideas as to why?

17:45 MiroslavAnashkin BillTheK_: You probably missed some configuration step, so the second agent does not report its status. But first, please try the following:
17:46 MiroslavAnashkin Identify the disappeared agent, stop it,  run ` neutron-ovs-cleanup` command on the node with this L3 agent instance, and start L3 agent
17:47 BillTheK_ Ok
17:51 MiroslavAnashkin And there is not so old mailing list, where multiple L3 agent configuration sequence were duscussed: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/openstack/dev/36353?do=post_view_flat
17:52 BillTheK_ did what you recommended same result

21:38 rnelan can anyone tell me why I cannot run a kvm command from the command line on a compute node that I installed using KVM?
21:38 rnelan that may not have been clear.. I installed FUEL and told it to use KVM, not QEMU
21:39 rnelan but when I run "sudo KVM" etc.. I get a bash error that KVM is a command not found
