14:21 wrale my latest install crashed with a syntax error in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/rgw.conf on line 5... line 5 is the ServerName line.. the syntax error is that no value is given for ServerName.  anyone know what this would happen?
14:21 wrale 5.0.1
14:23 wrale maybe this has something to do with the recent release of ceph packages here: http://fuel-repository.mirantis.com/fwm/5.0.1/ubuntu/pool/main/?C=M;O=D
14:35 wrale i figured it out.  a value for "domain" during setup and in /etc/resolv.conf on the OSD nodes is required.  otherwise 'facter fqdn' will return null, which will populate null in rgw.conf and crash the puppet run
14:35 wrale or create and err in the puppet run, rather

17:48 kupo24z xarses: sorry if ive asked this before but i cant seem to remember, virtual storage, needed on OSD + Compute node deployments?
17:50 xarses if you are using ceph ephemeral, no
17:50 xarses but the installer will require the minimum 5gb for it

19:41 angdraug you still need local storage on computes for taking snapshots:

21:21 wrale does 5.0.1 include the ec2 compatibility API, or is this deprecated from upstream now?  (coming from folsom release experience).. i want to try this atop my fuel-installed cluster: http://star.mit.edu/
21:44 wrale nvm.. found it.. thanks

22:34 wrale it seems that doing a boot from new volume for large URL-based qcow2 image (trusty cloudimg latest, as per openstack docs) fails with an "Error: Block Device Mapping is Invalid" ... suppose this is a timeout issue?  I assume "vda" is the proper mapping value.. Thoughts?
22:35 wrale Small URL-based image of similar origin works well.. (manually added latest cirros image)
