04:50 Iesvsmagna I'm trying to install 5.0 onto a Dell server. I've tried it twice and both times have yielded the same result.
04:50 Iesvsmagna Nothing is listening on port 8000
04:51 Iesvsmagna Looking through the logs of this chat, I found that it could be related to this issue.
04:51 Iesvsmagna https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1323354
04:51 Iesvsmagna It deals with an unsupported NIC card on Dell (and some other) servers.
04:52 Iesvsmagna I tried to use the workaround recommended here
04:52 Iesvsmagna http://docs.mirantis.com/fuel/fuel-5.0/release-notes.html#bootstrap-kernel-issues-on-certain-hardware
04:53 Iesvsmagna However, when I try to run the last command which is 'cobbler sync' I get 'cobblerd does not appear to be running/accessible'
04:53 Iesvsmagna So it looks like both cobbler and docker failed to install
04:54 Iesvsmagna The bug reports as fixed on 5.1 but it doesn't look like that's available for download in an iso.
04:55 Iesvsmagna What else can I do?
05:04 Iesvsmagna 'cobbler check' yields 'httpd does not appear to be running and proxying cobbler, or SELinux is in the way.'
05:05 Iesvsmagna 'cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux' yields 'SELINUX=disabled'

10:05 wap hi all
10:05 wap i want to change my PXE interface in Fuel 5.0
10:05 wap something like this: https://software.mirantis.com/refdoc-fuelweb3/changing-network-parameters/
10:06 wap but in fuel 5.0 using docker
10:07 wap how i can do cobbler sync after i editing dnsmaaq.template in cobbler image
10:07 Longgeek joined #fuel
10:07 wap any clue, please?
10:16 mattymo wap, it involves updating ip range for dhcp in nailgun, which is not supported after deployment
10:17 mattymo you should reinstall your Fuel master and use Fuel Setup to confnigure your PXE interface
10:17 mattymo configure*
10:21 wap mattymo: i doesnt want to change ip range for dhcp, only change interface
10:22 mattymo wap, how can you have the same exact network config on 2 different interfaces? believe me, if you try it, it will still have issues
10:22 wap i think i can only modify dnsmasq.template and re-sync the cobbler
10:22 mattymo but what you would do is edit /etc/fuel/astute.yaml and modify the admin interface from eth0 to whatever you want
10:22 mattymo then dockerctl destroy cobbler;dockerctl start cobbler
10:22 mattymo it will redeploy cobbler
10:23 wap ok, ok mattymo
10:23 mattymo you can try to fix it manually, but it will be much faster to deploy again
10:23 wap i ll try it
10:23 mattymo good luck!
10:23 wap thanks for the advice
