07:29 baboune hello, once I applied the changes from https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1378327 to the logrotate file, do I need to restart or relaunch anything?

10:24 baboune well the restore really did not work...  There is no environment anymore plus "fuel environment list HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error (internal server error)"
10:29 hyperbaba I was testing the resize option for an instance on the dashboard . The upsizing works(after initial ssh complaints), but downsizing does not work, and no errors reported.
10:35 hyperbaba fuel 5.1 is in question
10:35 baboune seems at least that the gateway is not set properly after the restore.

10:50 merdoc hyperbaba: downsizing wont work if you shrink disk space
10:52 hyperbaba merdoc: Thank you. Then a extended set of flavours needs to be defined by default on the platform, including the ones with same disk size and different vcpi/mem . This way, how things are set, downsizing will fail always.
10:56 anand_ts hyperbaba: check this https://ask.openstack.org/en/question/33146/resize-disk-down/

11:06 merdoc hyperbaba: nothing prevents you from creating different flavours
11:08 hyperbaba merdoc: Of course not. But from users/customer perspective, already defined new flavours which will cover this will have positive impact.

13:22 sbartel hello
13:22 sbartel i have a question regarding fuel 5.1 and pxe
13:22 sbartel i try to deploy on HP fut server
13:23 sbartel and the pxe interface is seen on the wrong nic (not the one setup as pxe)
13:23 kaliya sbartel: your NIC for booting in PXE must be in the admin segment, and on the admin segment there must be other DHCPs
13:24 kaliya there MUST NOT be other DHCPs
13:24 sbartel there is no other dhcp
13:24 sbartel the server are seen in fuel UI
13:25 kaliya so is your booting order correct, on nodes?
13:25 kaliya PXE booting order also
13:25 sbartel but fuel display eth7 with the mac address corresponding to my port NIC 2 (eth1) and tag it as my PXE instead of eth1
13:26 kaliya fuel should display MACs on the admin net
13:26 sbartel it does that for all the server from my blade center
13:39 Dr_Drache sbartel, that's on the blade.
13:39 Dr_Drache you have the wrong NIC as primary PXE.
13:40 Dr_Drache wait....
13:40 Dr_Drache I might have read that wrong.
13:42 sbartel that's may be a silly question but the port nic 2 on the blade (setup for pxe) is not suppose to be seen as eth1 in the kickstart image?
13:42 sbartel the blade are boostraped but i though the mapping was like this
13:43 sbartel port nic 1 = eth0, port nic 2= eth1 and so on
13:49 Dr_Drache sbartel, I'm not sure on the naming schemes.
13:49 Dr_Drache but I know I had to change my NIC boot order on my Dells.
13:50 sbartel ok
13:50 sbartel ubuntu is currentyl being install by fuel
13:50 sbartel hope thant nic order won't change from kiskstart centos to ubuntu
13:51 Dr_Drache it does
13:51 Dr_Drache at least the naming scheme
