11:39 swordz Hi. I'm currently trying to deploy a Openstack Juno using a Fuel 6.0 Nightly. I've used this same nightly before, with success.
11:40 swordz I've installed the same ISO on a new VM, and am using it to set up a new Openstack Juno setup. It's meant to be the same type of install, but there are a few enforced changes (mainly number of systems, and interface layout).
11:41 swordz When I deploy this system the hapr-p interface in the haproxy netns doesn't appear, which causes it to fail. Has anyone seen this before? What am I doing wrong?
11:44 aliemieshko_ joined #fuel
11:47 swordz It manifests when trying to run neutron commands, as the IP that's missing is needed for neutron net-list, which then blocks install.

12:21 kaliya Which nightly build number? Might be a bug

13:39 swordz kaliya: Yes, CentOS 2.6 12th of this month, I'll get the build number now. I'm interested in why it didn't affect my other set up. What's the difference?
13:40 swordz fuel-community-6.0-35-2014-12-12_04-03-25
13:40 swordz Sorry for delay in responding, went for lunch.
13:44 kaliya swordz: nightly builds may include bugs also... I can try to reproduce in case I will file a bug
13:44 kaliya swordz: can you try with a more recent ISO?
13:44 kaliya and repeat operations, to see if the problem disappeared
13:45 swordz It also happened with the ISO from the 18th
13:46 swordz I reverted to the 12th as I had that working on my previous build.
13:46 swordz That deployment is working fine, I'm quite impressed there!
13:47 swordz I'm going AFK for ~20 minutes. I'm also hitting https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1373014 and the workaround works, but DHCP isn't very reliable. So I need to visit the actual machines every now and again to give them IPs.

14:33 jetole Hey guys. I have neutron/vlan and I have had a bunch of issues with networking. I have created routers for new projects and the routers do not appear in the name space for the l3 agent node. Last night I had to reboot the controller which was the l3 agent node and when it migrated to the other controller, it created no namespaces except for the haproxy namespace which I believe was already there
14:34 jetole I'm not sure what service is responsible for creating network namespaces either

19:42 jetole Hey guys. I have neutron/vlan and 3 controllers. I rebooted the controller last night that was running the l3 agent and I saw from `pcs status` which controller had taken over the role of the l3 agent however it didn't show any of the qrouter namespaces on that router and networking to all VM's failed until the other controller had come back online and I moved the resource back to that controller
19:42 jetole does anyone know how I can troubleshoot this?

21:00 MiroslavAnashkin jetole: What is your Mirantis OpenStack version? Please check you have valid /root/openrc file on all controllers. And please update Pacemaker OCF scripts to the latest version vrom here: https://github.com/stackforge/fuel-library/tree/stable/5.1/deployment/puppet/neutron/files
21:02 MiroslavAnashkin Simply copy and overwrite on every controller /usr/bin/q-agent-cleanup.py
21:02 MiroslavAnashkin And all neutron-agent-* files in /etc/puppet/modules/cluster/files/ocf/
21:03 MiroslavAnashkin Then please run # `chmod 0755 /var/lib/neutron/external/pids/*` on every controller
21:03 jetole MiroslavAnashkin: 5.1
21:03 teran joined #fuel
21:04 MiroslavAnashkin And after that please migrate or restart neutron agents one more time. There were 3 related bugs and these steps solve all 3.
21:04 jetole openrc looks valid and I did a ssh / bash for loop piping all of them to md5sum after checking one and they are all identical
21:07 MiroslavAnashkin Then, please update OCF scripts on controller. You may also upgrade these scripts in /etc/puppet/modules/neutron/files on master node/ There was bug, which ordered Pacemaker to migrate only first qrouter in the list of available qrouters
21:07 jetole MiroslavAnashkin: "And all neutron-agent-* files in /etc/puppet/modules/cluster/files/ocf/" - what files. Do what with these?
21:07 teran_ joined #fuel
21:09 MiroslavAnashkin Simply overwrite with versions from https://github.com/stackforge/fuel-library/tree/stable/5.1/deployment/puppet/neutron/files/ocf - all 4 files should be in usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/mirantis/ - my mistake. i've poster incorrect path.
21:09 MiroslavAnashkin And run `chmod +x /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/mirantis/*` after update.
21:10 * jetole is going through it
21:13 thumpba joined #fuel
21:14 jetole MiroslavAnashkin: /etc/puppet/modules/cluster/files/ocf/ on controllers?
21:14 jetole I don't have that folder on the first controller I checked
21:14 mattgriffin joined #fuel
21:15 MiroslavAnashkin No, /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/mirantis/
21:15 thumpba joined #fuel
21:15 MiroslavAnashkin And  /usr/bin/q-agent-cleanup.py
21:16 MiroslavAnashkin BTW.  `chmod +x /usr/bin/q-agent-cleanup.py` may be also required after update.
21:20 jetole 1/3 nodes has a empty /var/lib/neutron/external/pids/ which I think the node may be sitting idle at the moment
21:20 jetole how do I restart agents? crm resource restart?
21:20 jetole @ MiroslavAnashkin
21:21 MiroslavAnashkin yes

21:33 jetole MiroslavAnashkin: I'm hesitant do that on a production system
21:33 jetole I may schedule that for a late night
21:34 jetole MiroslavAnashkin: the other thing I wanted to ask was, do you know how I can add a second external interface on neutron/vlan ?
21:39 jetole Also, is there a rss feed anywhere or something I can use to get notifications of bug fixes?
21:39 teran_ joined #fuel
21:41 jetole MiroslavAnashkin: also which 3 agents did I want to restart? p_neutron-metadata-agent, p_neutron-dhcp-agent and p_neutron-l3-agent ?
21:41 xarses jetole: for fuel? you would probably have to subscribe the launchpad project and would get spammed alot
21:42 jetole xarses: may be worth it for bugfixes. I could set a sieve filter on the mail server to put it in a separate folder
21:42 jetole xarses: you work for mirantis. Right? I mean how do you recommend I keep up with bug fixes?
21:44 xarses jetole: correct, I work for mirantis on the fuel / mos project
21:44 jetole xarses: so what do you recommend? I mean I just patched a bug that, afaik, was responsible for outages of a production env
