00:58 Vortex hi
00:58 Vortex can someone help me
00:59 Vortex HI?
01:01 Vortex how do i configurate the network settings?
01:02 docaedo Vortex: at which stage? During initial Fuel installation (networking for Fuel master node), or for OpenStack environments deployed with Fuel?
01:02 Vortex before deploying
01:03 Vortex it have this ip: 172.16.0.2
01:04 docaedo OK, before deployment of an openstack environment all the network settings are on the "Networks" tab of the Fuel UI
01:04 Vortex and thats not an mirantis IP
01:04 Vortex i'm there
01:04 Vortex but there is some strange ip
01:04 Vortex 172.16.0.2
01:04 Vortex 172.16.0.126
01:04 Vortex 172.16.0.0/24
01:04 Vortex 172.16.0.1
01:05 Vortex Floating IP Ranges
01:05 Vortex 172.16.0.130
01:05 Vortex 172.16.0.254
01:05 Vortex and that is not one of your ip's
01:05 docaedo ah ok - those are just default values filled in essentially as examples, meant to be replaced before deploying the environment.
01:06 docaedo There's more information about the network config available here: http://docs.mirantis.com/openstack/fuel/fuel-6.0/user-guide.html
01:10 Vortex but what are the ip address i have to put i still don't get it
01:11 Vortex http://prntscr.com/5mg6al
01:11 Vortex http://prntscr.com/5mg6d9
01:12 docaedo the IP's depend on your own network largely, unless you're doing this entirely virtualized. In that case they depend on how your virtual networking is configured.  If you're trying out the virtualbox quickstart that makes things simpler
01:14 docaedo The quickstart is here if you haven't see it - this script (combined with a Fuel ISO) will automate the deployment, and should quickly give you a working OpenStack deployment: https://software.mirantis.com/quick-start/
01:17 docaedo I would recommend you give the quickstart a run - once it successfully completes, you can go back and look at the network config for the deployed environment and compare that to the virtualbox virtual network settings, should connect the dots and help make it easier to see how the different network layers are configured
01:17 docaedo (I have to step away but if you're still running into trouble there should be some others coming online now, very likely someone will be able to help get you up and running)
01:27 Vortex o thanks

12:00 neophy kaliya: just testing this driver after deployed env using fuel 5.1
12:00 kaliya neophy: afaik, you should pull, stop neutron and import migrations with neutron-db-manage --config-file, this is the usual way
12:01 kaliya but I don't know this driver at all, and maybe we can try to ask in #openstack-neutron
12:03 neophy kaliya: sure. I will ask neutron IRC. when I neutron-db-manage --config-file /etc/neutron/neutron.conf --config-file /etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini upgrade head
12:03 neophy it says : /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/alembic/util.py:163: UserWarning: Revision 86d6d9776e2b referenced from 86d6d9776e2b -> 589f9237ca0e (head), Cisco N1kv ML2 driver tables is not present
12:03 kaliya neophy: probably. I'm sorry I cannot provide further help
12:03 neophy ok
