12:35 moizarif i have a question, does fuel use eth0 interface for PXE (via admin network) as a standard? can i use some other interface for PXE node discovery like eth2 or eth3 may be and configure admin network on that interface?

14:32 swordz Hi. I'm looking to download community Fuel 6.0. I can't seem to find a link to it. I can find a link to the last nightly build from the 19th, but 6.0 was released on the 25th! Is this the same thing? I'd rather an official link if possible.
14:33 swordz I know I could probably get it from the Mirantis site, but I'd prefer a community link if possible.
14:37 dklepikov swordz : You can find official releases on https://software.mirantis.com/
14:38 dklepikov swordz : press "download options"
14:42 swordz dklepikov: Perhaps you can answer some of my questions regarding licensing/role of Mirantis. This has been confusing me for a while.
14:42 swordz The code for Fuel is open source. You can freely download the nightly builds, and the 6.0 TP was available similarly.
14:43 swordz However, to get the 6.0 release I need to go via Mirantis, which makes me accept a license agreement I don't have to do for the other downloads.
14:44 swordz I'm also a bit confused about exactly what this license means. While I think that by any reading I'm probably fine I'm not sure - which is why I'd prefer a community (i.e. non-Mirantis) link that means it doesn't apply.
14:45 swordz If something I've said sounds wrong it probably is - please do correct me!

15:27 swordz enik, does that mean you've already determined that there are none?
15:27 swordz If so, how similar is the 6.0 release ISO to the 19th Dec nightly?
15:27 swordz If there's no later nightlys, surely they should be the same?

17:14 holser it’s very similar to what will be in release
17:14 holser consider it as RC
17:18 docaedo The community builds of Fuel are available and are AFAIK unencumbered. Nightly community builds are linked to from here (with more info around the components, etc.) https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Fuel#Nightly_builds
17:20 docaedo The ISOs (and IMG and upgrade images) can be found here, and the ones that are in green at the top are probably what you're looking for: https://fuel-jenkins.mirantis.com/view/ISO/

21:21 Dragos hi! Are there any instructions how to updated the ubuntu repo on fuel (Juno)? I am trying to install the nfs-kernel-server package according to https://www.mirantis.com/blog/tutorial-openstack-live-migration-with-kvm-hypervisor-and-nfs-shared-storage/ but the package is not found
21:24 teran joined #fuel
22:04 thumpba joined #fuel
22:20 xarses Dragos: you can avoid all this if you use ceph and turn on ceph for ephemeral volumes
22:21 Dragos Thanks! I will try that!
22:22 Dragos It just seems silly that Mirantis removes a package described by their own blog...
22:25 teran joined #fuel
22:33 xarses Dragos: yes, it's silly, but we don't support that in Fuel so that's probably why it's not included
22:33 xarses if you wanted to add the package, you would have to download it and then rebuild the apt repo, or install it directly onto the nodes
22:35 Dragos ok. fair enough. I am reinstalling as we speak... I would rather do what is supported than hack my own thing

22:38 xarses hmm, you said juno, so you are on 6.0
22:39 xarses you could cobble together a plugin quite quickly to do the whole thing
