09:21 Ravindra Hi,
09:22 Ravindra HDD of controller is failed. I want to rebuild it.
09:22 Ravindra Controller was setup from Fuel PM.
09:22 Ravindra In non HA environment
09:23 Ravindra Is it possible to rebuild only controller node without disturbing other(Compute Nodes, etc ) ?

10:51 hyperbaba Hi there, i had to hard reboot a compute node (some kernel kvm issue). How can i restart instances on the compute node as admin ?Deployment is 5.1.1

10:58 aliemieshko <hyperbaba> hi, did you try from horizon ?
11:02 Ravindra Hi, HDD of controller is failed. I want to rebuild it. Controller was setup from Fuel PM. It is in non HA environment. Is it possible to rebuild only controller node without disturbing other(Compute Nodes, etc ) ?
11:03 aliemieshko from cli: nova list, nova show, nova start/stop/reboot <instance_id>
11:08 hyperbaba It's too many instances belonging to different projects. I can only start instance when logged as a project member
11:08 hyperbaba I thought maybe there is a magic command to do that for all at once
11:11 hyperbaba aliemieshko: bash script and nova commands did the job
11:13 hezhiqiang joined #fuel
11:21 aliemieshko <Ravindra> it is no possible from 'box', maybe if you make dump from db..., but i think it will be too hard to recover all env
11:22 kutija_ hope you had MYSQL backup

11:31 Ravindra @<aliemieshko> Since it is a single controller, Assuming we can back data from it. Is there any way to take backup and restore it on another ?

16:44 rpbernardino I'm using mos 6.1 (with centos, gre, bond,non-dot1q). My instances are provisioned with "public" IP but I cannot reach them even using static IPs. Anyone with similar problem?
16:45 rpbernardino br-ex exists but on linux-bridge, not ovs
17:02 CTWill So when do you think fuel will come with kilo
17:03 mwhahaha CTWill: with 7
17:04 CTWill so I am running the community 7.0 still running juno :(
17:04 mwhahaha 7.0's still a work in progress
17:04 mwhahaha when 7.0 is officially release, it'll be kilo
17:04 mwhahaha we're working on the kilo stuff right now
17:05 CTWill is there a beta I can bug my rep about
17:06 mwhahaha nope
17:07 CTWill heard anything good about ubuntu 15.04 then?
17:09 CTWill not sure if you got my message from a few days back thanks for the help with my 6.1 problem
17:09 mwhahaha no problem
17:09 mwhahaha i'm not sure if a 15.04 upgrade is in the mix, i think we're just working on kilo and some functionality for 7.0
17:10 CTWill nah I mean ubuntu's cloud, I had nothing but pain the last time I tried to deploy it
17:10 mwhahaha ah no idea
17:10 barthalion I don't think we will ever support 15.04 actually, we were focusing only on lts so far
17:11 barthalion you should raise it on openstack-dev though, I can be misinformed
17:12 CTWill I thought 15.04 is a lts?
17:13 barthalion no, LTS releases are out every 2 years
17:13 barthalion so 16.04 will be
17:19 CTWill ok

19:04 obcecado hi, i just built and installed vpnaas plugin on fuel 6.1
19:04 obcecado running fuel plugins lists it
19:04 obcecado but i cannot seem to find it in the gui?
19:05 mwhahaha I think it shows up on the settings page
19:05 mwhahaha for an environment
19:06 mwhahaha oh only if you have neutron enabled
19:07 mwhahaha https://github.com/stackforge/fuel-plugin-neutron-vpnaas/blob/master/environment_config.yaml
19:07 obcecado nvermind
19:07 obcecado it only shows up on new enviroments
19:07 mwhahaha that too
19:22 jaycee joined #fuel
19:31 xarses obcecado: that is correct, in 6.0.x and 6.1 plugins only show up if the env was created after the plugin was installed
19:31 obcecado thank you for confirmation :)
19:32 obcecado time for redeploy then
19:32 xarses CTWill: community iso from thursday on should have Kilo in it, if not there's a problem and we'll need to create a bug for it
19:34 xarses Ravindra: If you don't have db then it won't be possible to restore. What version of fuel are you on?
19:36 jdandrea joined #fuel
19:37 tzn joined #fuel
19:37 jdandrea Does Fuel 6.1's installation of Keystone use PKI or UUID tokens out-of-the-box? Or, perhaps a better question: Did it change from one to the other and, if so, with what Fuel release?
19:42 thumpba joined #fuel
19:54 xarses its still UUID
19:54 xarses we will consider ferrant tokens soon and skip PKI most likely
19:54 xarses jdandrea: ^
19:56 hezhiqiang joined #fuel
19:57 jdandrea @xarses: Ah, thank you! I was looking at Fernet via http://dolphm.com/benchmarking-openstack-keystone-token-formats/
19:58 xarses 6.1 is Juno so Fernet can't be set up there
