09:55 Dragos Hi! When I verify the neworks the controller always fail to reach the http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ and http://mirror.fuel-infra.org/mos/ubuntu/ repos. But if I ssh into the controller node it's no problem to run curl http://mirror.fuel-infra.org/mos/ubuntu/. If I change the role of the controller to compute them the tests pass. Any idea what is wrong?
09:56 Dragos this is fuel 6.1 after updating to the latest packages
09:58 Dragos with yum update followed by docketctl destroy all; boostrap_admin_node.sh

19:16 ericjwolf I am rebuilding my cluster and on the first attempt I had to manually add a few packages (Ubuntu OS) what do I need to modify in Fuel node to ensure these packages are automatically added?
19:16 ericjwolf Also, do I need to ensure the dependancies are there as well or will it take care of that?
19:17 ericjwolf Additionally I need the conntrack sctp module to be loaded on all computes, where can this be modified?
19:17 mwhahaha modifying the code would be bad since you might lose your changes if you upgrade/apply updates
19:18 mwhahaha the best way would be to create a plugin
19:19 mwhahaha not-supported-and-i-didn't-tell-you-this but you could edit the code on the fuel-master (/etc/puppet/modules/osnailyfacter/modular) and add what you need
19:20 ericjwolf I think you mentioned the pluggin thing before.  I am far from a coder, do you happen to know a good link with examples of how to build a plug to do something similar?
19:20 mwhahaha for conntrackd virtual_ips/conntrackd.pp, for packages everywhere fuel_pkgs/fuel_pkgs.pp
19:21 mwhahaha https://github.com/stackforge/fuel-plugins
19:24 mwhahaha with fuel plugin builder it will generate you a basic plugin that would execute a shell script
19:25 mwhahaha so you could just run with that if you knew how to accomplish everything with a single script
19:25 mwhahaha there are a bunch of fuel plugins out there if you search for fuel-plugin here https://github.com/stackforge/
19:25 mwhahaha so you could always take a look at what others are doing

20:28 dhmtb Hey. I I cant find a DVD right now, so I used unetbootin but the installer is saying can't find the ks file :/
20:45 angdraug dhmtb: which Fuel version? there was a number of ISO/USB fixes in 6.1
20:45 dhmtb 6.1

20:51 angdraug you shouldn't have to use unetbootin, dd to the usb stick should be enough

22:20 Sesso_ I also have usb installation issues. During initial install, I have to change the hd:LABEL="mirantis_fuel":/ks.cfg   to    hd:sda1:/ks.cfg     Thats if my usb mounts to sda.   setting the ks line to the repo label will also work... Howver, AFTER the install and the system reboots, it stops after "starting rhsmcertd start". Either the setup isnt actually running the "post installation scripts" or docker isnt starting? I cannot get a
22:20 Sesso_ usb install to work for the life of me. I CAN get a DVD install to work but I need USB to be successful.
22:22 mihgen Sesso_: hi, sounds like a bug :(... can you file one, and once those who has been working on it wake up in Europe, they can take a look
22:26 Sesso_ ok sounds good. I have even tried downloading a nightly from the fuel site and the same issue happens.
