05:50 Kanzhe I have a question on how to parse bond interfaces from network_scheme output
05:53 Kanzhe "transformations" in network_scheme contains a list of actions. One of the action is "add-bond", which contains "interfaces". However, I am not sure how to get the info in puppet.
05:54 Kanzhe Here is the sample output of 'transformations': [{"action"=>"add-br", "name"=>"br-fw-admin"},    {"action"=>"add-br", "name"=>"br-mgmt"},    {"action"=>"add-br", "name"=>"br-storage"},    {"action"=>"add-br", "name"=>"br-prv", "provider"=>"ovs"},    {"action"=>"add-br", "name"=>"br-aux"},    {"action"=>"add-patch",     "bridges"=>["br-prv", "br-aux"],     "provider"=>"ovs",     "mtu"=>65000},    {"action"=>"add-port", "bridge"=>"br-fw
05:59 Kanzhe Hi all, a bit of context, I am writing a fuel-plugin for a Neutron backend. And would like to learn how a compute node's uplink is bonded if any.
06:01 Kanzhe hiera('network_scheme') is the place that contains the bond detail. I am fairly new to puppet and not sure how to get the bonding info out.

09:23 bpiotrowski Kanzhe_: you need to assign it to some variable for starters
09:23 bpiotrowski I'll try to produce something in a minute apart from that
09:24 bpiotrowski Kanzhe_:  but you can poke smakar for that as well, I suppose he knows networking in Fuel way better than I do
09:26 Kanzhe_ @bpiotrowski thanks
09:27 Kanzhe_ I assigned 'transformations' into a variable. It is an array. Puppet 3.4.2 doesn't have a good way to iterate an array.
09:28 Kanzhe_ I am not sure how can identify the entry from the array and get the bond interfaces.
09:29 Kanzhe_ bpiotrowski: Thanks.
09:30 bpiotrowski yeah, I'm a big fan of puppet 4 too…
09:38 smakar Kanzhe: please ask directly if u still need help :)
09:40 Kanzhe_ smakar: yes, I still need help. :-)
09:41 Kanzhe_ smakar: I am wondering if there are other objects with bonding info?

15:38 ericjwolf Seeing a werid issue in Fuel 6.1 - fuel is showing all 3 of my controllers as offline but all the openstack servers are working and I can ping on the fuel PXE networks.  They were all online last week.  I did a quick search but did not see a related bug.

18:43 Jabadia I assume Friday's are week ..
18:43 Jabadia weak*..
18:47 Jabadia ok , re-executing fuelmenu solved it. Thanks..
18:48 xarses you can usually also do `dockerctl start` and it will try to star/rebuild the containers if they have not started correctly

20:58 Verilium Am I correct in my understanding/assumption, that with network templates with Fuel 7.0, I could configure multiple external networks/floating pools?
21:00 Jabadia fyi, my problem above resolved by rebooting the fuel ..
21:00 Verilium Hmm, or maybe not, if I'm to base myself on this answer:  https://ask.openstack.org/en/question/84422/how-to-create-multiple-external-network-in-fuel-7/
