05:57 krypto hi is there a way that i can do deployment step by step ;in UI if i click "deploy changes" it will do OS installation and then openstack configuration.Is there a way i can install OS and then configure openstack in a later stage

06:10 mwhahaha krypto: if you just do fuel node --node # --provision it stops after installing the OS
06:11 mwhahaha and doesn't run any of the tasks, then you can use a different node command to test specific tasks (see fuel node --help)

11:01 iamroddo To enable a neutron mechanism driver I need to install a couple of packages on the controller, one is the ML2 plugin, the other is a python package on which it depends. I'm relatively new to fuel, can anyone suggest where I can find a procedure to make it happen?

13:46 martineg_ in mos 6.0, space allocated to virtual storage on compute nodes are by default assigned to an LV mounted on /var/lib/nova, is there a way to change this so we can use images_type=lvm in our libvirt settings and have instance storage backed by LVM instead of default/qcow2 in the file system?
