06:53 hopala hi, i would like to as if some one has some success with enabling ceph-calamari plugin with MOS 7. ON github there is a project for calamari which was build upon MOS 6, but i am not sure if this is also good for MOS 7.0?

08:02 fzhadaev Hi hopala, did you mean this project https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-calamari ?

08:45 hopala yes
08:46 hopala fzhadaev: yes this is the project
08:48 fzhadaev As I see in their installation guide - it's compatible with "MOS 6.1 or higher"
08:48 natarej_ joined #fuel
08:48 hopala yes. that's correct. but yesterday i have end up with errors in deployment, using this plugin. i cannot share the logs right now.
08:51 fzhadaev Are you built it using this instruction? https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-calamari/blob/master/doc/source/installation-guide.rst
08:56 hopala yes, that's correct
08:56 hopala i have successful build and applied plugin install command
09:04 hopala what's typical url address to access the calamari GUI?
09:05 ddmitriev joined #fuel
09:10 fzhadaev I think it's the IP which you can find in network info for 'calamari' node.
09:10 fzhadaev https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-calamari/blob/master/doc/source/user-guide.rst
09:14 hopala hm. could calamari node be the same node as controller node by MOS topology?
09:16 javeriak joined #fuel
09:22 fzhadaev I'm not sure. Could you please test it with separate node to be sure that plugin works with your MOS version. So we can locate the root of the issue.

10:27 hopala pasquier-s: ok thx. i will contact dancn and fzhadaev as soon as i get log erros. i will also try to install, as recommended by fzhadaev, to just one node

12:06 blinky_ghost hi all, yesterday I've asked a question here about the ability to create multiple external (provider) networks using fuel 7.0. Someone point me to this documentation https://github.com/openstack/fuel-library/blob/master/deployment/puppet/l23network/README.md#network-scheme. However this is not sufficient as I need to change some confs in l3_agent.ini and create new bridge_mappings. My question is if this could be done and how and if this is supported f
12:06 blinky_ghost or example when I need to upgrade my environment? thanks
12:09 hopala fzhadaev: could be possible that i should name at least one node as "calamari". i guess this is a must not recommendation to name some node calamari. I get this error: "Could not find node "calamari" in the environment at /etc/fuel/plugins/fuel-plugin-calamari-1.1/puppet/modules/fuel_plugin_calamari/manifests/agent/params.pp:33 "
12:12 hopala fzhadaev: error log within Fuel deployment: http://pastebin.com/myhXDFB5
12:15 fzhadaev hopala, as I understand from user guide - it's looking for node with name "calamari". So I suppose that it's necessary to name so one of nodes .

15:10 fzhadaev are you using node IP as described in user guide?

20:30 xarses Rodrigo_BR: I'd guess that it is, I just don't know how. I'd start be looking over the ALC's and see if you can remove it there
20:30 xarses I'd be interested to know why you don't want ephemeral instances at all
20:30 xarses I think you can also do some magic with flavors to limit the options

22:21 ericjwolf I know you guys are hard at work.  I want to upgrade my setup from 6.1 to 8.0 and I am trying to hold off adding servers to the cloud.
