04:05 Verilium I'm trying to understand the p_ff798dba-0 interface, and specifically, what MAC address it uses?  Is it randomly generated on every reboot?

04:14 Verilium Just got an issue today, similar to one I got more than a week ago, on another compute node, where floating IPs simply stopped replying.  At first, not all of them, eventually, they all stopped.  It's as if ARP wasn't answering back.

17:11 aglarendil sc-rm: I guess this is it: https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1469263
17:11 aglarendil or it could be a UI bug
17:11 aglarendil casting vkramskikh ^^
17:12 vkramskikh it was an UI bug fixed quite a long time ago
17:12 vkramskikh yep, probably in fuel 8.0
17:16 vkramskikh here it is https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1516747
17:16 vkramskikh hmm, only 3 months ago :)

20:49 Verilium Are there any (known) issues with, say, DVR, and the floating IP agent gateway located on a compute node, where it would stop answering ARP requests?

22:28 powerox Hi ... can someone help me out on how to use a newer kernel (>=3.19) for installing the slave nodes with FUEL 7.0?
22:32 powerox i am stuck with deploying the environment because our nodes use network cards attached through usb 3-0 ports ... and those aren't handled well with this older kernel
22:33 powerox i know how to change kernel-parameters within COBBLER - but when i tried to change the kernel under the DISTROs tab, this did not have any effect

22:59 mwhahaha powerox: you can try the ubuntu bootstrap instead of centos or did you already try that?
