09:45 asteer does anyone know which ubuntu packages provide the python neutron.db.loadbalancer.* for mos7? I've installed neutron-lbaas-agent and its dependancies but I still get Import errors

10:11 cbingham Does anyone know if Fuel’s keystone has been configured to use an LDAP or other external authentication source in any production deployments please? I’m looking at the question of admin authentication/authorisation on the cloud infra (not on OpenStack itself), and have run into the question of what options we can support for having named users authenticated from a central source in Fuel UI/CLI/API

15:33 RoadRunner Good morning! have a question regarding fuel documentation.
15:34 RoadRunner I am trying to resolve this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1505192 but I cannot find the location of the image file anywhere in fuel-docs or fuel-web to replace it

15:47 mwhahaha I don't think those docs are publicly available for changes. I think fuel-docs is for https://docs.fuel-infra.org/fuel-dev/ and fuel-web is actually part of fuel itself
15:52 RoadRunner Ah I see

21:37 ericjwolf Greetings  I am trying to install the MOS8.0 from the website ISO (just downloaded it) and I am getting an error during the initial bootup that the kiskstart file cannot be found /dev/sr0:/ks.cfg and there was another reference to ha:/dev/sr0:/ks.cfg.
21:37 ericjwolf Then is failes out.
21:37 ericjwolf I looked at some IRC logs and saw a couple posts.
21:38 ericjwolf What is the correct fix/work around?
22:00 mwhahaha use dd to put the iso on a usb stick
22:00 mwhahaha you have to use dd
22:02 ericjwolf I am booting the ISO via a Lantronix Spider using a virtual media.  Thsi worked on the 6.1 install.  Does 8.0 boot only work on a USB stick?
22:03 mwhahaha i have no idea what a lantronix spider is
22:03 ericjwolf It is a IP KVM device.
22:03 mwhahaha it'll work if you burn an iso but it seems that you're running into the same thing that happens when people try to use something like unetbootin with the iso
22:03 mwhahaha which is why we have it in the docs that you have to use dd
22:04 ericjwolf http://www.lantronix.com/products/lantronix-spider/
22:05 ericjwolf It works like a IPMI/KVM interface
22:05 mwhahaha yea it's probably the way their virtual media is implemented
22:05 mwhahaha if you dd the iso to a usb stick it should work and not give you that error
22:05 ericjwolf ok.  I will try that.
