08:12 noshankus Hi guys - anyone know if I can get an lbaas v2 plugin for fuel-community-9 for Mitaka on Ubuntu? I've been search high and low, but can't find anything definite. The closest I can find is an old Mirantis doc: https://www.mirantis.com/blog/openstack-load-balancing-service-using-fuel-plugin/
08:14 noshankus but this is clearly for Juno and may very well be lbaas v1. The github project looks promising, but nothing for fuel on it...
08:35 noshankus I note that it looks like lbaas v2 wasn't planned for liberty and seems to be skipped entirely in MOS8...
08:36 noshankus The github project does seem geared towards Mitaka however and does eem to have some dahboard work: https://github.com/openstack/neutron-lbaas-dashboard

08:37 noshankus So I may try to install the plugin from github after I get a 3 node controller setup installed...
08:38 noshankus Would appreciate any feedback if anyone has successfully managed to do it already, or failed a hundred times trying :)

16:23 byrdog55 Does anyone have any knowledge about the fuel-plugin-dbaas-trove, does it currently have support for Fuel 8.0?

16:32 mwhahaha byrdog55: no it does not look like it currently supports 8
16:33 byrdog55 mwhahaha: thanks, there doesn’t seem to be much activity in the repo.  Is there any roadmap for pulling it forward?
16:34 mwhahaha i have no idea, the plugins are not necessarily owned by any fuel core team
16:34 mwhahaha so i'm not sure who is responsible for that one
16:34 byrdog55 gotcha thanks again

22:09 rps2 Greetings. I have a quick question...we are using VLAN tagging on one bridge interface in dual mode. Natively, the port (br1) is on VLAN 510 so it can support PXEboot, and tagged it's on VLAN 51 (br1.51). Fuel, however, will not display the port. The other three interfaces (br2, br3 and br4) which do NOT use VLAN tagging at all do show up. Any idea why br1 and br1.51 don't appear?
22:10 rps2 If you manually stuff them in, it seems to work. It's just they don't show up as options.

22:28 LGee no, there wasn't
22:31 LGee leave some time for an answer. I'd say Fuel version at least would be relevant. By don't appear you must mean the fuelweb UI, or?
22:56 byrdog55 joined #fuel
23:01 rps2 LGee: Sorry, got sucked into a meeting and I'm getting the OpenStack stuff second-hand. It's the Fuelweb UI, version 8 and it may be that we're defining too many interfaces in the curses-based fuel console.
23:02 rps2 The documentation is, well, not easy to follow. It may make sense to you guys who've been doing it a while, but the chap that got handed this is having issues about the various networks and where they're supposed to be defined.
