03:00 jianghuaw Hi, I'm deploying a test cloud in my environment. But the disk space reserved for "Image storage" is insufficient which blocks to upload images.
03:00 jianghuaw I would like to shrink other parts' size - e.g. "Base System"; But I can't do that as it says it reaches the minimum size. Actually only <1/4 is really used per my test.
03:00 jianghuaw Is it possible to escape from this minimum restriction? In my testing enviroment, I don't have more disk space.
03:01 jianghuaw Thanks very much if someone can give some advice.

08:31 ikalnitsky kun_huang: build system for what? for fuel ISO? or for our debian/centos packages? the former - UNIX Make, the latter - better ask dburmistrov_ :)
08:33 dburmistrov_ kun_huang: up to fuel 7.0 we use Open Build Service. since 8.0 we use our own system based on mock and sbuild
08:34 dburmistrov_ kun_huang: you can take a look at builder part at https://github.com/dburm/docker-builder

12:25 Seafire Hello people, I'm trying out the zabbix fuel plugin with Fuel 9. I've built it using the latest git sources, the plugin is installed on the Fuel Master and deployment works (no errors). But when I connect to the zabbix web page nothings happens, plus I checked the primary controller and there is no zabbix installed nor on the other two controllers (Im running with HA). Has anyone encountered the same problem?
12:26 kaliya Seafire: does the Zabbix page appear?
12:26 Seafire no it's like it was never installed
12:26 kaliya Did you install some Zabbix roles?
12:28 Seafire @kaliya, no not really..I didn't even know you could do that
12:29 Seafire I followed the guide and it never talks about roles
12:34 kaliya Seafire: what repo did you clone?
12:34 Seafire This one https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-external-zabbix

13:18 AlexAvadanii agordeev: I wonder whether cross-debootstrap (building for arm on x86) is something that could get upstream in fuel-agent later

13:26 Seafire kaliya: the roles you where talking about are already defined by the plugin...the network settings of my env related to zabbix are here http://paste.ubuntu.com/19362095/

15:13 AlexAvadanii mwhahaha: I looked closer at the node erasure code you pointed me to, I have yet to find out how that worked so magically well in fuel8 for our UEFI :) I don't see any code responsible for cleaning up the boot entries, yet it used to happen
15:14 mwhahaha so for 8 i thought we cleared out a larger part of the disk
15:14 mwhahaha https://github.com/openstack/fuel-astute/blob/stable/8.0/mcagents/erase_node.rb#L162-L166
15:15 thumpba joined #fuel
15:15 AlexAvadanii yes, I saw that too, which might explain some stuff (I suspect EFI system partition is not nicely cleaned now, but I have yet to confirm this); but the boot entries are stored in flash, they are added by grub-install, and can only be removed by explicitily calling efibootmgr
15:15 mwhahaha where as it was updated in 9 to be less dramatic for some reason, https://github.com/openstack/fuel-astute/blob/stable/mitaka/mcagents/erase_node.rb#L114-L122
15:15 mwhahaha who knows might have just been magic :D
15:15 AlexAvadanii I will let you know when/if I find it :) until then I use a couple of one-liners to clean up the nodes
15:16 AlexAvadanii there is no such thing as magic, just very obscure code paths :)
15:18 AlexAvadanii for the record, my one-liners http://paste.openstack.org/show/532826/

20:43 cr0wrx anyone over here know how to restrict access to a provider network/external network? I managed to create additional ones, but it seems any user in any tenant can create a router+set gateway to it (even though new external network is not marked shared) and allocate floating ips from it
