13:41 mskalski arhided: did you have a chance to look at http://docs.openstack.org/developer/murano/draft/admin-guide/admin_troubleshooting.html#log-location
13:43 arhided Sometimes logs contain only two messages after the application deployment. There are no messages, provided in applications themselves:
13:43 arhided To fix the problem, set the driver option in the murano.config file to messagingv2.
13:43 rmoe joined #fuel
13:44 arhided where is that file?
13:44 arhided and i haev A problem with heat stack creation, examine the heat log file. Try to manually spawn the instance. If in the reason of stack creation fail is no valid host was found, probably there is not enough resources or something is wrong with nova-scheduler.
13:44 arhided when spawn Sahara Hadoop cluster
13:47 arhided /etc/murano/murano.conf?
13:49 arhided i my case notification_driver=messagingv2
13:55 mskalski did you setup logging.conf file for murano https://github.com/openstack/murano/blob/master/etc/murano/logging.conf.sample ?

14:06 mskalski so you have logging.conf file in conf directory not logging.conf.sample?
14:07 arhided yes
14:09 arhided the only app that always deploy is Apache
14:10 arhided com.example.apache.ApacheHttpServer
14:10 arhided kubernetes - never workd
14:10 arhided docker - never work
14:11 arhided it attempt to spawn an instance - and drop it in a sec

19:15 ron___ Hi..i am facing issues while PXE booting nodes using Fuel 9 node
19:16 ron___ they fail to PXE boot
19:16 ron___ on Fuel i have 2 NICs configured one on PXE network 10.20.0.1/24 and other on NAT network
19:16 ron___ for outside internet access
19:16 ron___ can anyone help me?
19:17 Sketch are you PXE booting on the right NIC?  is your fuel server running DHCP on the right network?
19:17 Sketch and do you have any other DHCP servers on the same network?
19:17 Reepicheep joined #fuel
19:18 ron___ Sketch:
19:18 ron___ I have 2 networks on Fuel
19:18 ron___ both dhcp disabled
19:19 ron___ i am using 2 virutal networks: vbox0: 10.20.0.1/24 and other vbox1 172.16.0.1/24
19:19 ron___ Fuel has one of it's NIC eth0 on vbox0
19:19 ron___ with 10.20.0.2 IP
19:19 Sketch by DHCP i mean PXE setup in the fuel configuration, since DHCP is part of that
19:20 johnavp19892 joined #fuel
19:20 ron___ since Fuel came up with an IP on eth0
19:20 ron___ DHCP must be running fine right?
19:20 ron___ on Fuel PXE network
19:21 Sketch are fuel's NICs configured for static IPs or DHCP?
19:22 ron___ eth0 was auto-configured by Fuel
19:22 ron___ eth1 was statically assigned an IP by me
19:22 ron___ during the network setup i faced during Fuel boot
19:22 Sketch i think eth0 is configured with a 10.x.x.x static IP by default
19:22 ron___ eth0 already had an 10.20.0.2 ip assigned
19:22 ron___ yea
19:23 ron___ Fuel UI and everything came up fine
19:24 ron___ i was also able to install my plugin and excute commands onfuel
19:24 ron___ just that i am not able to boot any nodes
19:25 Sketch by default PXE should be set up to run a DHCP server on eth0 ... you also need to have saved/applied the settings before it will start the DHCP server
19:25 Sketch if there is no DHCP server running on the fuel node, then something is wrong
19:25 ron___ i saved and exited the setup
19:25 ron___ how do i verify this ?
19:26 ron___ that dhcp server is running fine on fuel
19:29 Sketch hmm, actually...i'm not sure where it is in 9.0 ;)
19:29 Sketch i wonder if it's just part of nailgun now...
19:30 Sketch ah, it's part of dnsmasq
19:30 ron___ ohhh
19:30 ron___ i have stopped dnsmasq service
19:30 ron___ on fuel
19:30 Sketch that could be your problem :)
19:30 ron___ while i was trying to configure some nodes
19:30 ron___ on my end
19:30 ron___ also i purged out the dnsmasq package
19:30 ron___ :)
19:31 ron___ i guess thats the issue
19:31 Sketch seems likely
19:31 ron___ tnx let me try by re-adding dnsmasq
19:31 ron___ thx Sketch
19:31 rmoe joined #fuel
19:33 ron___ yes..booted fine
19:33 ron___ when i re-added dnsmasq

20:27 mwhahaha flerfb0rt: for what use?
20:32 flerfb0rt i am doing a parallel deployment of a fuel environment
20:32 flerfb0rt plugin assisted
20:32 flerfb0rt so i need to know stuff like what nodes are available, what are their ip addresses

20:32 flerfb0rt and at the moment im stripping the data off of fuel nodes and fuel env which is messy

20:33 mwhahaha alternatively if you are using ansible, we have fuel2 node ansible-inventory
