11:42 agordeev hi folks, is anybody familiar with pcmk_location puppet module around here?
11:43 agordeev we can do location for one primitive, how can we do that for multiple primitives?
11:52 vvalyavskiy_ joined #fuel
12:01 vvalyavskiy_ agordeev: what do you mean by multiple primitives? You can specify location for each primitive separately.
12:01 agordeev manikanta: ^ please go ahead
12:05 manikanta Like for neutron there are dhcp and ovs , meta data agent and I should have to locate on 3 controllers
12:05 manikanta how should I do with single pcmk_location  ( not using pcmk location for multiple times)
12:06 manikanta <vvalyavskiy_>
12:30 vvalyavskiy_ As far as I can see pacemaker module doesn't support such case, each location policy should be configured separately -  https://github.com/openstack/puppet-pacemaker/blob/master/lib/puppet/type/pacemaker_location.rb#L75-L77
12:30 vvalyavskiy_ manikanta: ^^

13:28 bgaifullin this patch https://review.openstack.org/#/c/370113/ will fix CI fail. need to rebase patch after it was merged.

13:50 schmil I've installed mos 9  with fuel and after rebooting the controller I get errors when running any open stack command
13:51 schmil Discovering versions from the identity service failed when creating the password plugin. Attempting to determine version from URL.
13:51 schmil Could not determine a suitable URL for the plugin
13:53 schmil the /var/log/apache2/keystone_wsgi_main_error.log shows http://paste.openstack.org/show/577429/
14:05 agordeev schmil: looks like broken requirements for stevedore. have you considered to update stevedore package?
14:08 schmil no
14:09 code-R joined #fuel
14:10 agordeev schmil: the application requires stevedore>=1.16.0, but it gets only 1.12.0
14:10 schmil I've installed the mirantis 9 I wwas hoping that all packages are up to date
14:10 schmil how come there is a mismatch in versions
14:11 schmil how do I upgrade stevedore
14:11 agordeev so it was fresh installation, right? this is a bug definetely

14:18 schmil how do I upgrade the stevedore package
14:19 agordeev schmil: `apt-get install stevedore` ?
14:21 agordeev this may be tricky, but i recommend you to track down the packages which require stevedore and the repos from which they come. it could be just a wrong repo configuration.

19:09 goldenfri anyone around in here?
19:12 goldenfri I created a custom bootstrap in fuel9 to install the 4.4 kernel, but when I deploy my nodes revert back to 3.13, whats the best way to have 4.4 on my deployed nodes? I could install it manually on each one, but that is just annoying.
19:13 mwhahaha bootstrap image != provisioned image
19:13 mwhahaha so you have to rebuild your provisioning image
19:13 goldenfri where does the provisoned imgage live?
19:15 byrdog55 I was just curious when Fuel 9.1 is scheduled to be released?
19:16 mwhahaha goldenfri: i don't remember off the top of my head, i want to say it's in /var/www/nailgun somewhere. you build one per openstack environment
19:16 goldenfri Thank you, I'll look, I didn't see anything in the docs about it, but I could be missing it, I appreciate the help
19:18 mwhahaha goldenfri: so in 9 they exposed the ability to include your own packages in the image being built for the environment
19:18 mwhahaha goldenfri: so the best way to do a custom image for the environment is make sure the kernel package is available and update the package list which is on the generall settings page
19:18 goldenfri ah ok, that helps, thanks!
19:19 mwhahaha also if you look in /var/log/ on the master, there should be a log from the image building process which might have some clues (if you already deployed an environment)
19:19 mwhahaha it's /var/log/fuel-agent-env-#.log or something
19:20 goldenfri cool
