12:02 masterjcool Hello. I am using Openstack Mitaka, deployed with Fuel. Our VMs get the DNS search domain "openstacklocal", but I would like to use our internal domain. What is the best way to change this?
12:03 masterjcool Would changing "dns_domain = openstacklocal" in neutron.conf and restart the neutron services do the trick?
12:05 mskalski masterjcool: it should, you will find more details here http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/networking-guide/config-dns-int.html
12:09 masterjcool mskalski: Thanks. It looks like changing dns_domain and adding dns to extension_drivers can do it.
12:10 masterjcool Can this be "tested out" on a single compute node or do you need to apply it on all compute and controller nodes?
12:19 mskalski I don't think so, it is not configuration per compute
12:20 masterjcool Ok, so change it on all nodes, restart neutron-server, and new vms should get the correct search option?
12:20 masterjcool I'll try that, thank you.

12:56 scsnow hi, where can I get nightly stable/mitaka fuel iso?
13:04 mskalski scsnow: https://ci.fuel-infra.org/ 9.0
13:05 scsnow mskalski, thanks

13:47 masterjcool Any specific neutron service you need to restart?
13:47 masterjcool docs talk about neutron-server, but that's not running on the controllers?
13:48 masterjcool derp, not running on the compute nodes *
13:49 mskalski try follow docs, if it still not catch new domain for new vms next thing to reload is probably neutron dhcp agents
13:50 Vijayendra joined #fuel
13:51 masterjcool right, but I don't think I follow any of these use cases.
13:51 masterjcool I just want my local domain back in /etc/resolv.conf in my VMs. We handle DNS updates ourselves.
13:51 masterjcool all the neutron stuff is already created afaik

15:02 mskalski goldenfr_: it looks like this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/mos/+bug/1580594 I would try generate fuel snapshot and add to this bug
