05:17 chaitu Hi guys, I’m writing a fuel plugin which enables storage backends for openstack cinder, here it supports two storage protocals ISCSI and FC. Now i want the plugin to be certified so do i need to configure CI and submit logs for any one of the protocal(ISCSI) or should i do it for both the protocals (FC and ISCSI)

10:40 ashtokolov ikalnytskyi: there is this commit in stable/newton branch also https://github.com/openstack/fuel-web/commit/458c05f952f2fb591b78a5b660a2e2a2c5c93447

13:14 kelepirci is there anyway to manually backup fuel master node?
13:27 mskalski kelepirci: not sure what you mean by manually but did you try http://docs.openstack.org/developer/fuel-docs/userdocs/fuel-install-guide/upgrade/backup-fuel.html ?
13:27 kelepirci I did not install octane and my master node is giving me disk error.
13:28 kelepirci I have access my files as read only and need to backup the node from file system.

13:30 vvalyavskiy ikalnytskyi: hi, sorry for the late response. feature is targeted on 9.2 milestone and I'm not sure this is only one thing breaking migration from 9.X to 10 and later releases.
13:32 vvalyavskiy ikalnytskyi: one more thing, could you please merge https://review.openstack.org/#/c/386117/ ? +2 from other core guy is in place.
13:32 Luke00 hi, whats the difference between mirantis fuel and fuel community ?
13:33 ashtokolov vvalyavskiy: ikalnytskyi let's try to land the tag feature to stable/newton too
13:37 vvalyavskiy ashtokolov: but, it will not fix problems with migration from 9.x to >10 releases.
13:39 ashtokolov vvalyavskiy: what do you mean? stable/mitaka and stable/newton will contain these patch-sets

13:43 mysterysmith I have an environment with 3 compute / storage and 1 controller, to which I added 2 controllers and then removed the original controller. Some of my existing instances have RBD volumes that point to the old controller's storage IP. Any idea where that IP might be stored?

14:03 vvalyavskiy ashtokolov: yep, I suppose that Igor meant problems with db migration. ikalnytskyi - Am I right?
14:05 vvalyavskiy Idea is following: if we have migrations for new columns on 9.2 version and if we are going to apply analogical migration rules for 10.0 - it will fail

20:44 CarlosE How to make sure it's updated before I deploy an environment?
