01:44 Pippo Hello everyone, I am deploying Fuel to real servers. I have 4 servers, one is the the master, and three slaves. I did the first test environment fine, all default with cinder. everything worked like a charm. I deleted the test environment and create another one with ceph enabled for everything, and 6 virtual machines (as hypervisors )plus the 3 old  server that i decomisssioned from the environment before. Though now I have an mcollec
01:44 Pippo I test the network environment...
01:44 Pippo I treied to reboot the 3 servers but nothing changed
01:45 Pippo Verification failed.  Method verify_networks. Network verification not available because nodes ["4"] not available via mcollective.  Inspect Astute logs for the details
01:46 Pippo this is ultraweird because for the first environment everything worked without issues
01:46 Pippo any advice?
01:46 evgenyl Pippo: Is it available via admin networking?
01:46 Pippo yes, I can ssh into them
01:46 Pippo (via the admin network)
01:47 evgenyl Pippo: try running `mco ping` on master node, and see if it replies.
01:48 Pippo no replies
01:48 Pippo [root@fuel ~]# mco ping 7                                        time=54.10 ms 11                                       time=55.47 ms 8                                        time=56.81 ms 10                                       time=57.61 ms 9                                        time=58.36 ms 12                                       time=59.06 ms master                                   time=62.92 ms
01:48 Pippo oh god... nice formatting
01:49 Pippo the baremetal ones are the 4,5,6
01:50 Pippo i thought it could be the usual mcollective + nailgun that they brake eachother though when I deployed the first time it was working without issues
01:50 Pippo when I deleted the environment and created a new one, and put the servers I used for the first environment, they are not seen by mcollective anymore
01:52 Pippo evgenyl any idea?
01:59 evgenyl Pippo: Is it booted in bootstrap?
01:59 Pippo yes
01:59 Pippo tried to reboot it twice as well
01:59 evgenyl Pippo: Have you tried to reboot it?
01:59 evgenyl Pippo: oh
01:59 Pippo yes
01:59 evgenyl Pippo: ok
02:00 Pippo i tried to run fuel2 node undiscover --node 5 and reboot it
02:00 Pippo could it help?
02:00 evgenyl Pippo: Hm, I'm not familiar with this command.
02:00 evgenyl Pippo: There should be logs from MCollective on the node.
02:01 Pippo me too, i wanted just to see if there was a way to make the system totally forget about that node
02:01 Pippo i'll check
02:01 evgenyl Pippo: Try take look at them, also make sure, that this node can connect to RabbitMQ port on master.
02:02 Pippo its three of them unfortunately... I check for the rabbitmq as well, Im not so expert
02:03 Pippo in the messages (no specific logs while bootstrapping I guess)
02:03 Pippo http://paste.openstack.org/show/594077/
02:05 Pippo about rabbitmq... the environment is stil not installed (because of the network issue it does not let me) isn't rabbitmq still to be installed as well?
02:08 Pippo BOOM
02:08 Pippo solved
02:08 Pippo after UNDISCOVERING the node
02:09 Pippo via the command line and rebooting it, it seems working for one
02:09 Pippo i'll do the same for the other two and see if it works

02:10 newbism Hi. I keep failing network verification. Error running RPC method verify_networks: 027c2591-1051-46ae-ac68-84af72f687bc: MCollective call failed in agent 'net_probe', method 'start_frame_listeners', failed nodes:  ID: 3 - Reason: Failed to run 'net_probe.py -c /tmp/net_probe20170106-1851-1tpogij' http://dpaste.com/059TEZQ what gives?
02:11 newbism oh we have our own paste ^_^
02:13 newbism http://paste.openstack.org/show/594078/
02:14 evgenyl newbism: try going to the node and running this command directly :)
02:14 evgenyl newbism: it may happen if some dependencies for the probe are not available.
02:15 evgenyl newbism: at least I had issue with packages on my env some time ago.
02:22 Pippo Verification failed.  Method verify_networks. Network verification not available because nodes ["14"] not available via mcollective.  Inspect Astute logs for the details
02:22 Pippo -.-
02:22 Pippo are these errors random?
02:22 Pippo unregistering worked 2 nodes on 3
02:22 Pippo *undiscovering
02:24 Pippo [root@fuel ~]# fuel2 node undiscover --node 14 --force 400 Client Error: Bad Request for url: http://146.118.52.100:8000/api/v1/nodes/?ids=14 (Cannot perform the actions because there are running tasks.)
02:25 Pippo re-undiscovered it again and im rebooting now
02:25 ipsecguy joined #fuel
02:25 Pippo anyone else with these issues or it is just me?
02:33 Pippo not solved
02:33 Pippo same mcollective issue unfortunately
02:34 Pippo it worked only on 1 node the workaround, and on two nodes it does not
02:34 Pippo still not pingable via mcollective
02:37 newbism joined #fuel
02:37 newbism evgenyl: im back :) .. one min
02:38 newbism Pippo: yes I'm having simliar problem

02:58 Pippo it is very weird now, even deleting the node completely from the db and rebootstrapping it I have the same problem not pingable via MCO
02:58 Pippo while the last node I did it went up with no issues
02:59 Pippo should a node be pingable via "mco ping" before adding it to an environment?
03:04 Pippo same crap...
03:04 Pippo Method verify_networks. Network verification not available because nodes ["22", "23"] not available via mcollective.  Inspect Astute logs for the details
