00:03 sergmelikyan saroj_: checked e-mail, it's clearly something wrong with your network configuration
00:04 sergmelikyan you don't have access from the nodes neither to internet (hence first failure) neither to master node (hence second)
00:04 sergmelikyan can you share your network scheme?
00:04 sergmelikyan and configuration?
00:05 sergmelikyan I don't know use-case where Apply button would be disabled, but I might be missing something
00:05 sergmelikyan goldenfri: can you tell more?
00:05 sergmelikyan "I had to set the MTU for the apply to be enabled in a recent built of Fuel 10" sounds interesting

00:11 jianghuaw hi, could someone help to look into this issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1656773
00:12 jianghuaw I'm stuck with my cloud due to this issue. Any solution or workaround is appreciated.
00:20 sergmelikyan goldenfri: confirm bug with MTU
00:34 saroj_ @sergmelikyan: configuration- eth0 is my pxe network, eth1 is for fuel master internet connection, eth2 is for data network
00:34 sergmelikyan saroj, I confirm bug with MTU - you need explicitly to set MTU in order to save interfaces settings
00:40 evgenyl saroj_: The problem with network tab not allowing to save is related to a bug on Fuel-UI, try setting MTU manually and saving the changes.
00:41 saroj_ @evgenyl: can you please guide how can i set manually
00:41 saroj_ i do not know how to do it manually
00:42 saroj_ evgenyl-Can you please provide your email address, so that if i face some issue, i can directly email to you
00:42 saroj_ my email id is sarojx.panigrahy@intel.com
00:43 saroj_ and sarojp1321@gmail.com
00:48 evgenyl sergmelikyan Hm, looks like it's related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1643599
00:51 evgenyl saroj_: There should be a button with additional settings under each interface on interfaces configuration screen and there is MTU field, by clicking on it you should be able to set MTU size.
01:13 saroj_ But, i do not want to modify any MTU size
01:14 saroj_ i just want to configure the admin, storage, management, public and private networks in the correct interface of the nodes and press apply
01:19 Egyptian[Home] joined #fuel
01:26 evgenyl saroj_: according to what sergmelikyan said bug in UI https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1643599 prevents you to change interfaces mapping, so you have to use CLI to properly assign interfaces or set MTU sizes.
01:29 saroj_ please guid how can i use CLI to properly assign interfaces?
01:30 saroj_ suppose i want to configure management and private network in eno3 interface for a node
01:37 evgenyl saroj_: I think it can be done using`fuel2 node interfaces download` and `fuel2 node interfaces upload`commands.
01:46 saroj_ [root@fuel ~]# fuel2 env list +----+--------+----------+------------+ | id | status | name     | release_id | +----+--------+----------+------------+ |  4 | new    | OPNFV_SA |          2 | +----+--------+----------+------------+
01:47 saroj_ fuel2 node interfaces download -f yaml -d /root 4
01:47 saroj_ 404 Client Error: Not Found for url: http://10.20.0.2:8000/api/v1/nodes/4/interfaces/ (Node not found)
01:47 saroj_ in my fuel env list, it shows id is 4
01:47 saroj_ status-new
01:48 saroj_ name-OPNFV_SA
01:48 saroj_ release id-2
01:48 saroj_ but when i want to download, it gives error
01:48 saroj_ 404 Client Error: Not Found for url: http://10.20.0.2:8000/api/v1/nodes/4/interfaces/ (Node not found)
01:48 saroj_ evgenyl:could you please help
01:54 evgenyl saroj_: it's a per node parameter, so you have to specify id of the node you want to edit.
01:56 saroj_ ok
02:03 saroj_ @evgenyl: i am able to download it and edit it. but it is getting me difficult for to find out different interfaces in a node. For ex- eno3, i want to add pubilic, storage, management, private network to eno3
02:03 saroj_ i did not find how to move them from eno1 to eno3 in the file
02:04 saroj_ by when this fix will be available in fuel iso danube release.
02:10 evgenyl saroj_: I'm not a part of fuel or openfv teams, just hanging around on the channel and occasionally try to help people, so cannot provide any release details.
02:11 saroj_ Ok, Thank you. Still i get a  lot information from you for debugging purpose
02:11 saroj_ Thank you for your help.
02:13 evgenyl saroj_: No problem, if you are interested in opnfv build, as Serg suggested, it would be better to join #opnfv-fuel channel and ping folks there, until today I didn't know that such builds exist :)

15:33 mikese Hey I'm getting an interface bug in Fuel 10.  When trying to configure the node interfaces I get this error: No model with name "nic_attributes" defined
15:33 mikese Does anyone else have this issue?  I don't currently have a launchpad account so I haven't filed a bug, but I'm willing to if needed

19:22 JamesonFinney Does the 'atop' command fail with "*** buffer overflow detected ***: atop terminated" for anyone else on a deployed OpenStack system? I've deployed with Mirantis Fuel 9.1, and the command is failing on controllers and ceph storage nodes. Compute nodes fail as well, but with "Floating point exception".

19:49 cr0wrx anyone in here know how to migrate nova disks that were launched as type 'file' (local disk) to ceph backend? I can update nova.conf to use ceph in [libvirt] and new VMs work fine, and existing running VMs remain running. However, shutting off an existing and starting it fails because it tries to fetch disk from ceph, not local
