11:28 kkeithley sure, now is a much better time.
11:44 kshlm joined #gluster-dev
11:55 lalatenduM kkeithley, I tried to build nfs ganesha  from d.g.o on cbs.centos.org but it failed , that is one issue
11:56 lalatenduM kkeithley, another one is in http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/nfs-ganesha/EPEL.repo/epel-7/x86_64/ we have el6 packages where we should have el7 pkgs
11:57 lalatenduM kkeithley, also the src RPMs are misplaced I think
11:57 lalatenduM in http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/nfs-ganesha/EPEL.repo/
12:00 lalatenduM kkeithley, here are the failures https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=382 https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=384
12:00 JustinClift *** Weekly GlusterFS Community Meeting is starting NOW in #gluster-meeting on irc.freenode.net ***
12:00 kkeithley let me fix the d.g.o problems first.
12:01 kkeithley lalatenduM: ^^^
12:01 lalatenduM kkeithley, sure np!

12:59 kkeithley lalatenduM: centos6 doesn't have cmake28!
13:01 lalatenduM kkeithley, nope, it has cmake-2.6.4-5.el6.x86_64.rpm, check http://mirror.centos.org/centos-6/6.5/os/x86_64/Packages/
13:02 soumya lalatenduM, we need cmake-2.8 version to build ganesha I guess
13:02 kkeithley yes, same as RHEL6.
13:02 kkeithley right
13:03 lalatenduM soumya, kkeithley right, but rhel6.5 does not have cmake28
13:03 kkeithley Koji builds for epel6 have cmake28. I'm just looking to see where it gets it from. Maybe from epel itself
13:04 soumya lalatenduM, thats right..For that reason we got it packaged separately in RHS repo packages
13:04 lalatenduM kkeithley, interesting , but epel should not have pkg which is present base channel isn't it?
13:05 kkeithley I'm not sure it comes from epel actually
13:05 lalatenduM soumya, right, I am trying to rebuild it on Centos6 for CentOS storage SIG
13:06 lalatenduM kkeithley, check https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=819678
13:06 glusterbot Bug 819678: medium, medium, ---, hobbes1069, CLOSED CURRENTRELEASE, Review Request: cmake28 - A package of CMake 2.8.x for EL6
13:06 soumya lalatenduM, okay
13:06 kkeithley yeah, epel builds get cmake28 from epel (and it's called cmake28 in epel because of the stipulation that epel not have packages that are in RHEL, and RHEL won't update to 2.8)
13:07 kkeithley And Red Hat releng have cmake28 available in a side channel for situations like building the RHS version of nfs-ganesha
13:08 kkeithley So off-hand I'd say that the centos storage SIG needs a side channel with cmake28 available somehow
13:08 kkeithley does that make sense?
13:09 lalatenduM kkeithley, CentOS does not channels , we can have it for Storage SIG and it will effect the core CentOS
13:09 lalatenduM s/will/will not/
13:10 lalatenduM kkeithley, let me talk to CentOS devs to findout if they have any objection to add cmake28 to storage targets
13:10 kkeithley That *seems* like we're saying the same thing then. If we can put cmake28 into the storage SIG then that would fix it?
13:10 lalatenduM kkeithley, yes, it would fix it
13:10 kkeithley Nothing else would use it unless it has a Requires: cmake28
13:11 kkeithley So yes, let's check with the CentOS devs and get their take
13:12 lalatenduM kkeithley, ohh , right, it is different than cmake isn't? (the binary name is cmake28 9from epel) and base channel binary name is cmake. did I get it right?
13:12 kkeithley correct, yes
13:12 lalatenduM kkeithley, cool
13:13 kkeithley Seems good until another SIG wants cmake28 too. But maybe that's not such a big deal
13:13 kkeithley just a bit of disk space
13:18 lalatenduM kkeithley, what about el7 failure https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=384, did you get a chance to look in to that.
13:18 kanagaraj joined #gluster-dev
13:18 lalatenduM kkeithley, it is looking for "jemalloc-devel"
13:20 kkeithley heh, I clicked on the first link, not the second
13:20 kkeithley hang on
13:24 kkeithley repoquery on my RHEL7 box says jemalloc and jemalloc-devel came from epel, and I see them there (https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=508359)
13:25 lalatenduM kkeithley, thanks
