09:28 bootc Hi folks; I've got a Gluster 3.10 3-node cluster. I have a Distributed-Disperse volume with some entries that need healing, but no matter how hard I try, these just don't get healed. Help!
09:29 bootc I have stopped all IO to the volume (no mounts anywhere)
09:30 bootc a "gluster volume heal vmstore info" shows two bricks with 5 entries and two with 2 entries (and two bricks with none)

17:16 Pashuto Hello. I have gluster 3.8.5. I use ganesha-nfs to export my volumes to httpd. ganesha uses like 110% of my memory. Is there something I can do to limit it ?
17:18 JoeJulian Pashuto: Not sure if it's actually ganesha that's using the memory - but if it's gluster, you can try tweaking the cache values for the volume.
17:20 Pashuto well... atop points to ganesha.nfsd
17:21 JoeJulian Right, but ganesha uses the libgfapi so it could be the client-cache settings.
17:21 JoeJulian Are you memory constrained?
17:30 JoeJulian Pashuto: I also count 5 memory leak fixes that might affect you between that version and 3.8.10.
17:31 Pashuto I know, but i'm actually unable to update
17:31 Pashuto we are planning to move to 3.10
17:36 Pashuto my client cache is rather high (4Gb, don't asky me why...).
17:39 JoeJulian Don't quote me on this, but I'm not sure that cache number isn't used as a size for more than one cache bucket. Memory usage has always seemed to be some multiple of the actual setting.
17:54 Pashuto oh...
17:54 Pashuto this may explain a lot
17:55 Pashuto btw i checked and it seems that we lowered that number to 256Mb sometime ago
17:55 Pashuto so... 26Gb /256Mb is a lot for a multiplier
17:56 Pashuto JoeJulian, Are you aware of some kind of bug in the "gluster volume top" reports ?
17:56 Pashuto I think that not every counter is reset on my "clear"
17:58 JoeJulian Seems to be working on my volumes.

18:11 Pashuto i have a top read with a file that has 3107 reads. I issue a "gluster volume top myvolume clear", the list is empty for a while, then the header shows the previous file with "3109" reads and stays that way for a while
18:11 Pashuto like it wasn't cleared
