03:02 x4nd3r08 has anyone successfully found a front-end management GUI for Gluster? i have tried to use ovirt for Fedora, but i'm not having luck installing the package. i would prefer to stay with ubuntu, if possible.

09:55 bootc bother, bitrot has detected a corrupt file on a replica 3 arbiter 1 volume
09:55 bootc it's bad on *all* the bricks, though, and I can no longer access it at all
09:55 bootc so, how do I undo this so I can get to it again?
09:56 bootc disabling bitrot altogether doesn't help, but basically I need to bypass it

18:16 JoeJulian bootc: If it was me, I would mount the volume on one of the servers and copy the file directly from a brick to a new filename on the volume mount.
18:18 JoeJulian Seems improbably for it to fail the checksum on both bricks. Sounds more like some sort of race ended up with the wrong checksum. Another option would be to use setfattr to remove the ,,(extended attribute) for bit-rot.
18:18 glusterbot To read the extended attributes on the server: getfattr -m .  -d -e hex {filename}
