02:38 pdurbin codex: I know why your show/hide collapse thing doesn't work at http://irclog.spacecompute.com/sourcefu/2013-05-12 (for example)
02:39 pdurbin to cgi/style.css you need to add: .hidden { display: none; }
02:39 pdurbin which I found on nextgen: collapsing of several join/quit lines with javascript · 6925df3 · moritz/ilbot - https://github.com/moritz/ilbot/commit/6925df3d5f65bf93c9ba8a39af824640c3153e9f
02:41 pdurbin moritz: so there's still that bit of css to backport ^^
02:41 pdurbin I enabled collapse on my ilbot. i.e. http://irclog.greptilian.com/sourcefu/2013-05-13
02:41 pdurbin moritz: very nice feature. thanks
02:42 moritz pdurbin: .hidden { display: none } already is in the master branch
02:43 pdurbin oh
02:43 moritz $ git show origin/master:cgi/style.css|grep hidden visibility: hidden;
02:43 moritz .hidden { display: none }
02:43 moritz you might need Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the CSS
02:44 pdurbin no, it's our fault. codex and I are making little manual patches to our ilbots... not pulling from master
02:52 pdurbin moritz: how to you feel about making the camelia image configurable? https://github.com/moritz/ilbot/blob/dc77c33cf14b826df0221921aadb58a36611270d/config/template/day.tmpl#L27 ... have that butterfly (and its url) as the default but letting people "brand" their irclogs with a different image and link?
02:53 pdurbin do*
02:55 pdurbin our workaround has just been to update the image :) http://irclog.greptilian.com/camelia.png http://irclog.spacecompute.com/camelia.png
02:56 pdurbin codex: but your image still links to http://perl6.org
02:56 pdurbin which isn't a terrible place to promote :)
03:27 codex pdurbin: better?
03:27 codex :)
07:16 moritz pdurbin: I'll add that to my ever-growing TODO list
09:50 pdurbin moritz: thanks. if it's easier, I can create a github issue for it :)
09:50 moritz pdurbin: yes, please do
09:54 pdurbin Allow custom image and link rather than Camelia the Butterfly and http://perl6.org · Issue #11 · moritz/ilbot - https://github.com/moritz/ilbot/issues/11
09:55 pdurbin codex: looks the same. compare http://irclog.spacecompute.com/style.css to http://irclog.greptilian.com/style.css

20:16 codex moritz: Is there a way to change the logs into EST via a config?
20:17 codex only thing I found is: IrcLog.pm -> # returns current date in GMT in the form YYYY-MM-DD
20:17 codex sub gmt_today { my @d = gmtime(time);
20:17 moritz codex: no
20:17 moritz codex: you can subsitute gmtime with localtime
20:17 codex yea, that was my plan but wanted to see if there was a config for it :)
20:17 moritz then it logs in localtime
20:17 moritz no, no config
20:18 codex mind if I add one?
20:18 moritz I don't mind, but please do it in the 'nextgen' branch
20:18 codex ok
20:18 moritz otherwise it might get lost soonish
20:19 * moritz -> sleep
20:25 codex hmm, github seems to only let you fork the master branch?
20:25 pdurbin a fork is a clone
20:27 codex yea, for some reason not showing me branches (local or remote)
20:27 pdurbin git branch -a ?
20:27 codex it's probably something that I am doing
20:28 codex isn't -r the same thing?
20:28 codex weird -- i just cloned it again and now it works
21:44 codex moritz: whenever you see this, made the changes and sent you a pull request
21:45 codex Added a variable "TIMEZONE" to the bot.conf and I am using this variable everywhere gmtime was called to provide check and pass the correct time option
21:46 codex side thing: i noticed in the nextgen branch, specific to the time, that there are quite a few places where the same code is re-used. It might make it much easier to have one function that does the time calculation and then use that. I noticed you are moving to exporting your own configs in Ilbot::Config - that's great! :)
21:51 pdurbin codex: your code uses the time on the server or the time on each user's browser?
