05:19 davido___ Is that what you are after?
05:19 davido___ the meta-spec field is necessary too.
05:20 davido___ combine the META_MERGE fields.
05:21 davido___ Look up a few lines...
05:23 davido___ There really isn't any way for the cpan installers to know when to consume develop => requires, but it does document the need.
05:28 davido___ hip hip.

05:34 davido___ http://search.cpan.org/~dagolden/CPAN-Meta-2.143240/lib/CPAN/Meta/Prereqs.pm
05:34 davido___ Dist::Zilla just provides a thin wrapper around CPAN::Meta, so prereqs work as per CPAN::Meta::Spec

21:51 GitHub198 [inline-c-pm] RBarrabas comment on issue #21: I'm also seeing this - system hangs 100% of the time on the my system. Using the newest (5.20.1) version of Strawberry on WinXP. I've included a Perl -V below, but I think it's the same bug.... http://git.io/79wiVg
21:52 mohawk ingy, i had a thought about inline-module's process
21:53 mohawk instead of blib/Inline and trying to hide your work, why not just generate a *.xs file next to the *.pm, in the same spirit as a *.xs is used to make a *.c, then *.o, etc
21:54 mohawk then just install the *.so into blib, as normal
21:54 mohawk in other words, it would sort of be using "." as the DID
21:55 mohawk ought to reduce the amount of code in hooking into the build systems eg EUMM
21:57 mohawk since they ought to be able to just pick up as normal once they have a *.xs file
21:58 mohawk it seems to my naive thought that this ought to apply whether you did this author-side, or install-side
