18:35 rafl i don't even really understand how exactly the marshalling happens between c and perl. i'm not familiar enough with writing inline c code. no idea what xs code it'd generate there

21:15 Mithaldu ingy, rafl: yeah, i did notice that there are strange effects of caching at work, with the times highly dependant on whether the array itself is somehow reused, or just the order these calls are executed in
