05:23 cj any RDBMS in particular?  I assume sqlite... everyone loves that :)
05:23 cj I hear mysql has such a thing, too
15:44 diakopter cj: lol
15:44 diakopter yeah, sqlite
15:44 diakopter I've got the base class (Item)'s members stubbed out
15:45 diakopter and documented/explained/summarized.
15:45 cj hi hi
15:45 diakopter after thinking about it a while, I'll actually be able to use a lot of the DLR's concepts
15:45 diakopter but inserting another VM/abstraction layer between the DLR and CLR
15:45 diakopter I mean, it'll be very different
15:46 diakopter but I'll be able to steal a lot of structure
15:49 diakopter actually I've realized that by adding another layer (or few) of abstraction, the task of writing optimization/compilation/translation actors becomes a lot easier.
15:50 cj easier is better, right?
15:50 diakopter That is, I suspect that the runtime overhead of making the entire computing model *open* will allow for much *better* optimizations to be written, and they'll be much easier/faster to write.
15:50 diakopter right, 'easier' in the efficacy sense.
19:14 diakopter whee
