20:06 melodie hi pdurbin
20:06 melodie I am presently importing a documentation explaining how to use Ubuntu Builder, from the original dropbox of the author of the program
20:07 melodie the documentation was a html file produced with Libreoffice, and to publish it in WordPress there is a lot of code unneeded which I am now removing
20:22 pdurbin_m cool
20:24 pdurbin_m one of our users made an Ubuntu image with our app in it
20:25 pdurbin_m https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2280
20:44 melodie oh yes?
20:45 melodie this is a vmware image right?
20:55 melodie pdurbin if it's possible for me to include dataverse in a Bento Openbox edition (next autumn) I will
20:55 melodie the posgresql part might be a bit difficult for me but with some help I can get through
20:56 melodie one question can dataverse be used to analyse lots of data?
20:56 melodie and how flexible is it to cross reference data ? (some people I met with might have an interest in it eventually)
21:16 melodie pdurbin what would 3 best keywords for Dataverse be?
21:18 melodie :)
23:05 pdurbin melodie: archiving, citation, analysis
23:06 melodie pdurbin thanks, I'll see if I can add them
23:06 pdurbin it would be pretty neat to have a Dataverse package
23:06 pdurbin this is a .deb file?
23:07 melodie what, is a deb file?
23:14 pdurbin melodie: well, fedora uses rpm. I thought debian and ubuntu uses deb
23:14 melodie yes they do
23:15 pdurbin melodie: are you saying you'd package Dataverse as a deb file?
23:15 melodie and when there is no package available? well I don't package much so far. I compile, and install "as is" :D
23:16 pdurbin hmm
23:16 melodie I am not sure I would have the skills to do that. I have a bunch of packages in project though
23:16 pdurbin ok
23:16 melodie however mostly configuration files
23:17 melodie and lots ahead to learn, need to create a "bento openbox" session, which I will do following other person's examples
23:49 melodie pdurbin are you still using Ubuntu?
23:54 pdurbin melodie: on my laptop at home, yes
