00:52 jeffreykegler Marpa::R2 is on the list of "great modules" -- it's based on the favorites count on MetaCPAN.
00:54 jeffreykegler This is especially nice, when you consider that Marpa::R2 is a specialized tool -- it's competing directly against things like cpanm, which every Perl user *should* be using.
00:54 ronsavage That's impressive, and I didn't vote for it :-).
00:55 jeffreykegler That's OK, Ron.   Maybe you'll like the next release well enough to vote for it. :-)
01:23 ronsavage Actually, I've just realized, since I download the dev distros, perhaps my d/ls don't count at all?
01:24 jeffreykegler The download count isn't publicized.  The favorites count is a separate thing.
01:25 jeffreykegler I've often wondered what the download statistics are like, but I figure over the years, that fact that CPAN has not been telling me has saved me the time checking, and freed up many hours for doing stuff that is actually useful.

03:40 ronsavage My attitude is that I'd like to know the # of d/ls for all my distro, but as you say, CPAN for decades hit that info :-(
