01:12 jeffreykegler jdurand, rns: something that you could do on Kollos is start a document/design for the LUIF, based on what rns and I worked out earlier.

04:02 jeffreykegler I have written a new document describing the "Kollos Intermediate Representation", or KIR
04:02 jeffreykegler https://github.com/jeffreykegler/kollos/blob/master/notes/design/intermediate.md
04:03 jeffreykegler Kollos will have three layers of processing
04:03 jeffreykegler 1.) Taking the LUIF and turning it into the KIR, which is actually pure Lua 5.1, and may be executed by a Lua interpreter.
04:04 jeffreykegler 2.) A lower level, which the KIR calls as a Lua package, which makes the grammar ready for Libmarpa.
04:04 jeffreykegler 3.) Libmarpa, which, at first, will be the same as it is for Marpa::R2
04:05 jeffreykegler As I envision things, I will still need to do most of the work for layer 3, Libmarpa.  Initially, Libmarpa should not need to change much.
04:06 jeffreykegler I will also need to do most of the work for layer 2, which interfaces Lua and C code, and involves some future changes I have in mind.
04:06 jeffreykegler But ...
04:06 jeffreykegler I think others so inclined can do much or most of the work in layer 1,
04:07 jeffreykegler and note that layer 1 involves the actual interface design and high-level implementation, which is considered the fun part these days.
04:33 jdurand_ Hello Jeffrey - will read your document
