17:30 jeffreykegler I've just gone from having about 6 functions of Libmarpa "wrappered" for Kollos, to wrappering over 100.
17:30 Aria Oh wow!
17:30 jeffreykegler I use meta-programming, having Lua code write the code and this allows me to auto-generate them from a template.
17:31 jeffreykegler It's a good example of why there are no set answers in programming -- the meta-programmring is fiendishly difficult, and would be very hard for someone else to  maintain.
17:32 jeffreykegler But in this case replaces 1000's of lines of repetitive code with a few dozen (albeit quite difficult) lines.
17:32 jeffreykegler I know from having used the same technique in Perl and XS with Libmarpa, that it saves *a lot* of time during maintenance.
17:33 jeffreykegler Btw, unfortuately I am *not* doing a general-purpose Lua wrapper of Libmarpa, though my code could be leveraged for that purpose.
17:34 jeffreykegler The Kollos-Libmarpa interface will be integrated and *not* clean.  The "thinest" useable interface will be via Lua.
17:36 jeffreykegler From here I am going to check to see if I have everything I need to do a tiny parse.
